In a nutshell, most of the key players are still in while getting rid of the weak links.

Characters like Eren did make it pretty far. Now, they're setting up for the grand battle of the emperors. I guess they're done with most of the chatter and now going into the action.

Nice to finally see the all-out offensive against the Queen and her forces after all the planning, she may have got Teppei’s body back but now she’s lost half of her fighting force already, poor Ikusa, Touya and Meguru just never stopped taking Ls huh lol, they all got thoroughly outsmarted into basically killing themselves with their own attacks which is pretty fucked up when you think about it, but the Queen and her boys have had this coming for a while. And last but not lease was Seraphiel, guess he’s had the power to control the weather all this time but this one battle with him was his last, kinda unfortunate because I feel like more could have been done with his weather power, but I guess this is the end for him, maybe lol, you never know with this show.

So now there’s only a handful of the Queen’s forces left, including the strongest of the bunch like the Emperor and Kou, hopefully the battles with them will be good, I think they’ve been decent so far. And lastly, we got a bit of backstory on how the Queen came to meet Kou, and it was here where it was revealed that the Mother Light did in fact create the rights like I thought last week, unfortunately tho I don’t think there’s much more they can show me of the Queen to make me sympathize with her lol, yeah she just wants her family back but “becoming the devil himself” is exactly why she deserves to lose.

@Scootboi Unfortunately I don’t think I can lol, I’ve been enjoying it a decent amount but it’s a pretty average show, it’s had cool things here and there, especially in the 2nd half, but I don’t think it’s enough to put it above maybe a 6/10 at best, maybe someone that likes this more than me can convince you.

@Scootboi Episode 7 is a few episodes before the major change of the story. I would say that change is a change for the better. A lot of new characters appear and the general dynamic improves IMO. It doesn't turn into a masterpiece and there's still a lot of plot armor going on, but it's pretty fun if you don't take it too seriously.

Make of it what you want, no one can really convince you because you already dropped it and have negative opinion abouf it. At this point your time would be best spent trying your luck on a different anime.

Kou Kirishima's Mother Light God-complex problem, which created the Rights in the first place, this is a subservient story that connects the small dot to an already confusing plot, but the main thing is that Kisaragi, Kou and Tanonaka a.k.a Seraphiel, in the pursuit of reviving Haruto and Teppei, commences their plan as such. And now, with Ren's loyalty to them by exposing Teppei's true location, their side of the goal is almost achieved, but without the church being infiltrated by Yagihashi's group, that part of the plan will not work. And now it all comes to the suicide mission of rounding up Kisaragi, Kou, Haruto, Seraphiel and the remaining loyal followers for the full frontal attack.

The various groups separated to face every member of Kisaragi's group, all dealt with and planned to precision, this was the collective effort to pay off all of the story elements that honestly, proved too much to bear. The ending is, however, in sight.
