| @FMmatron Honestly I have my expectations tempered intentionally because I don't trust any studio to always do a good job. However seeing how good the upcoming Yaiba remake looks has me hopeful that we could see a nice improvement over the previous seasons production. To be fair though Yaiba has an absolute top tier staff team working on it, like seriously some of the best animators in the industry are working on that for some reason. I really just need them to drop a trailer or staff list or something already because that'll be a lot more helpful to give me faith in their adaption quality. |

| @FMmatron Yeah I was more so worried about any changes they may make to the art side than the animation side. But more than anything I want them to do a good job adapting the novels to anime format. Even if they give us top tier animation production that means nothing if the adaption of the novel is poorly done. It's exactly why Classroom of the Elite fans hate the anime because it's a poor adaption of the novel and cuts out so much that made it good. I think WIT does great work but I never want to get my expectations up too high because of all the factors that can make a anime adaption go wrong or just be much worse than it could've been. Especially nowadays when we have mismanaged and rush productions releasing one after another. At the very least knowing which director is working on this can help give a good idea of how well the novel will be adapted. |
