@RobertBobert, yes, they are. Strange that they announced their voice actors only now, usually it was done at the beginning.

It would be really nice if the mal manga mods put the shoujo demographic on the source material because not everyone likes shoujo content......

Wait, this got an anime adaptation?
I've read the manga until ch 2 or 3, it kinda boring. The story is kinda dumb and way too forced. The MC is kinda too Mary Sue for me, but smh just bc she's expresionless got Akujo treatment instead. Kinda dumb premise... Just another shoujo title with ikemen and unrealistic-soap-opera-cinderella scenarios.

Note: BTW, this is not an isekai, so if you're an isekai fan this may not be for you either. Just a royalty shoujo romance drama. I'm not personally against royalty romance drama, but if the premise is as dumb as this....

Note 2: I can't believe this got an adaptation before other better titles out there....

@Sleabedybarb That makes no sense... then why is Yarinaoshi Reijou wa Ryuutei Heika wo Kouryakuchuu correctly listed under the Shoujo demographic in its anime listing, as well as in its light novel source? Because it's Shoujo.

Likewise, this anime (and the light novel/manga listings, for that matter), should be listed under the Shoujo demographic in accordance with its Wikipedia articles that also label it under the Shoujo demographic.

As Yubisoft said, it should therefore be correctly labeled as Shoujo (though in my opinion, on both on the manga and light novel source material that are under said demographic), so that people who want to avoid Shoujo content, and people who are actively looking for Shoujo content (hi, that's me!), both get what they want here. It's a win-win for both of us!

And I'm not sure why, but I've noticed in a lot of cases, manga/anime that should have been labeled under the Shoujo demographic are always left out and not labeled as such, here on MAL. It really bugs me when stuff like this happens, simply for the sake of inaccuracy.

I'm okay now... At least... I want to be able to say that.
