Which one has better "ANIMATION"?

I'm really confused about which one is better if we consider only "ANIMATION" aspect of the both anime. Uzumaki was a bad adaptation but at least it contained some bad animation. On the other hand Blue Lock S2 has great visuals and lighting but has "still" animation. Blue Lock does everything good except for the matches. Even fan made animations from YouTube looks way better. Scratch that, both are trash.

Uzumaki has better animation and it is not close. Episode 1 was good and even if it had bad animation specially in episodes 2 and 3 at least was animated.

Blue Lock even if the fault is not on the animator(s) and studio cause of the conditions, still frames and good images do not count as animation.

If Uzumaki ONLY focused on still images probably would have looked good all 4 episodes cause the manga art style is very good.

The hard part is animating and adapting the manga to anime form, Blue Lock doesn't even do that and if you take the matches out of a football anime what is even the point. (Just reiterating it is not the studio's fault cause conditions were terrible!!)

I don't get the point, what's wrong with Uzumaki?I watched it, and I really liked it, but I've seen a lot of people saying that it has botched animation...

I mean, compared to Blue Lock s2, it has more than decent animation...

Uzumaki has had 1 well animated episode while Blue Lock S2 have had zero so it’s really just a numbers decision

Both weren't that bad, but Uzumaki's plot was a bit weird, but I don't like horror that much, maybe even the real thing wouldn't faze me. Blue Lock has been awesome, I don't know what the fuzz is all about, you guys are all whiny and spoiled, go watch some 80's anime to see what "still" animation looks like, and even then it's great in the plot of works like Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball.

We're not living in the 80s, though. As of 2024, players in a *football* anime are expected to be animated at least 5 times an episode. I've seen worse, for sure, but it's not shocking that people aren't happy, as Blue Lock is an extremely mainstream and popular anime. Now, the question was about animation and animation only, yet you discussed the plot instead.

If we take into consideration the time the animators had then uzumaki is awfully disappointing. It literally had 5 more years after the trailer and it still failed so bad. On the other hand blue lock didn't have much time to be animated so they decided to show us the 3d coloured movements of the manga panels lmaoo... If we look at the non match movements and animation in blue lock it easily beasts uzumaki in my opinion

as long as they don't play football, they have solid animation on the slice of life parts(for the most parts)
