Edward was a fantastic antagonist. The overall mystery of Shadow's House was exciting from start to finish. Seeing Rum still alive even though I knew her morph was her was a huge relief. The action for a world set in a fantasy industrial revolution fits so well. This would be the definition of urban fantasy for anime. The world it's based in is so cohesive and well built, the characters mesh so well over the first season. I look forward to the next season.

Last three episodes sucked but if it means we get Shirley back, then I'm here for it! Hopefully in season 2 they revert back to the slow methodical mystery that made the first part of this season so good.
