I mean there’s only 4 episodes total, spent the last 5 years waiting on this to come out, if the animation turns to slideshow quality i will still be watching, but i won’t like it

@Merve2Love Me, After they had postponed it for so long to make a well-made product I was curious to see what they would come up with, and the artistic part is very enjoyable to see but overall it is disappointing if this is the best they have come up with after all this wait.
@Leon888

Don't gimme that "Im a customer, I earned a well made product"
You're stealing this on the internet. Take it or leave it. You don't watch horror for the Sakuga.

Yeah, it's just another slop among the ocean of slops and it's only 2 more episodes.

Ok, lets say that guy is playing the "I'm the customer" card.

Who the fuck are you in this situation in order to act entitled and tell people to take it or leave it? You're not part of the production team, nor an investor nor part of the advertising or distribution process. You're not even part of the mod team in this site in order to censure others. You are literally a NOBODY acting like a Karen, and by the looks in your post history a no-lifer of this site.

It's also ridiiculous you act so sure that people don't watch horror for the sakuga. George A. Romero who many consider the grandfather of horror movies in the 80s had a lot of talent for directing but also for makeup and costume creation, a lot of his movies were wildy reknown for the make up and special effects. The equivalent in today's animation does fall into the sakuga department. I've seen this same ignorant statement in other genres like romance, but in reality, romance shows with better animation DO tend to be more popular/successful than those with modest animation (last season's Makeine is a great example).

Also, that other guy never stated that they are watching it by illegal means. There's the possibility they pay up their streaming services, but you're jumping to conclusions in order to have something to bark about.

Your ignorance and entitlement is just laughable, you're already in your 30s, get some common sense already.

@Merve2Love You're underestimating how good visuals can really immerse you in horror. And anyway, yes, there's no excuse for bad visuals.

There are only 4 episodes and I wasn’t bothered by the animation in Ep 2, so unless something really wacky happens I’ll be seeing this through to the end.

Nah most people watch anime for the storyline not animation. But good animation helps to keep more viewers in the long run. Long as it's not terrible I think most people will finish it including myself

yeah but only to see the dumpster fire. I could excuse the shitty animation is the pacing wasn't so horrendous. now I can only watch it out of morbid curiosity

Episode 1 was good. Episode 2 was kinda rushed and the story itself didn't make sense at times. And obviously the animation dropped in quality.
I'll watch episode 3 and if it's not satisfactory, I'll drop the show.
