Seems incredibly similar to "7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!" although I like the format of that.

It's a shame that the age difference thing (with her being 10, and is he 19..?) is apparently a concrete thing in the plot. I just thought that he was the same age as her, but that they drew him to be a lot taller until they started joking about the age difference a lot 😬

Hopefully it's nothing too weird anyway...

I am hoping he is that innocent. I am sure there is either some kind of magic or plot reason for that comment. Or maybe he is trying to replicate his parents without realizing that it can be seen as wrong by so many people. The statement has made me wary. But I am at least giving it another episode to see where it goes.

Did I see that right? Did Hades say it would have been better if she was a few years younger…??? Like. I know he is clueless and I believe I have read that it is more wholesome and that they wait for marriage until she is of age. But that set off some warning bells. Again hoping for the actual clueless part. And yes, I can get past the age gaps and the characters being young in these stories because it is always “arranged marriage as kids but absolutely nothing happens until they are of age”. Also. I have some resistance to certain “trashy” anime tropes. I do like my trashy shows from time to time so I can handle. But I think this is the first time I saw a character go “I wish you were younger” to an already underage character.

@elkensteyin I see, thanks. Though, tbh, I don't really understand how one would get 'potentially implied statutory rape' from that line... I'm also willing to bet that that specific line is "missing" context (intentionally) that the story will impart later (likely within the next two episodes) and that it will have to do with the connected comment he made about her having a high amount of magical energy.

Either way, personally, I don't really have a problem with the relationship (I'd say otherwise if they do the thing before she reaches the proper age and they're not yet married, yeah I am "old-fashioned" like that) or the age gap. After all, when he is 30 and she is 21, no one would bat an eye. Hell, if he were 95 and she were 60, no one would give a crap. That said, don't mistake, I'm not for or forgiving of pedo shit. Feed them to the wood chipper. I'm just saying that so long as everyone is of a proper age for marriage, than the size of the age gap is meaningless.

Additionally, just to comment on the betrothal part since I feel someone might bring it up. I don't have a problem with that either, particularly given the setting. Historically, people were often betrothed when they were around that age (well... nobility that is, at least), for all sorts of reasons. A lot (probably just about all, if not outright all) of those reasons don't apply to our day and age, but it makes sense why they did it then.

Anyways, my apologies for the long response... I certainly didn't intend for it to drag on like that. (I just realized I made an unintentional pun there, my apologies again 😂) If you got though that wall of text, thanks for your time!
