| Well, this episode put some emphasis on what the spies are capable of...at least from what they've learned. Miranda should trust their skills. I have to say though, these girls have come a long way. Their client should feel grateful for the spies using all the skills they've acquired in these latest episodes. |

| What a nice thing to do of those enemy pawns ... to end themselves after their failure, saves the additional trouble to our gang. And yeah, Thea needs to get over whatever she's going through right now, really quick. Her surprising, out of nowhere self pity arc is getting really weird. |

| As one battle ends with Monika and Sara, another starts with Sybilla and Erna with Barron, and the former graciously had him playing by the wisp of her cowardice for him to lose to her. But as the battle goes intense against Purple Ant's Worker Ants, they have a sizable and replaceable workforce against all spy agents, including Inferno. The Lamplight girls definitely had no idea who they were up against, though now it's just trial and error on their part and Thea's leadership in identifying the enemy's size. Though the part of the hero being a girl with black hair, while Grete fits the bill of disguise, Corpse was still in chains and offering Thea a way out to work together, which he kept his facade, and kisnapped her right into Purple Ant's hands. Negotiation time between the heads of good and evil, only one can emerge victorious. |

| That scene with Grete and Thea probably had the best facial expressions this series has ever had. Really did a great job of expressing just how lost and confused Thea is. This crisis of confidence has really got her all messed up. Seeing her breakdown on the floor and talk about how much she just wants to die was rough :/. Seeing it animated also drives home how bad she must have been feeling to be willing to listen to Roland, and let him out when it was clearly a set up. I mean, she was down so bad that ANYONE who had anything remotely positive to say was a friend in that moment. Of course that didn’t go well, bad guys do what bad guys do. Looking forward to seeing she and purple ant face off. |

| This was a really good episode and with Thea getting kidnapped and taken to Purple ant it's looking like the last two episodes are going to be intense |
| Whoever Miranda ended up in bed with sure was a terrifying person. For her first time Monika sure proved to be a natural at it. Sibylla choosing to fight hand to hand against the assassin sure was gutsy. The manpower their opponents had access to was startling. 12 man teams are highly unusual but ensures that they are able to outfight and outlast their opponents. Thea can learn a lot from Grete. Though freeing the captive was a bad move getting Thea to the purple ant i feel would be a key move in the fight to take him down. |

| Pretty well done how they made the two scenes look similar and fool people into believing that was Thea in the first scene. I also liked how the color filter changed once we saw it was the exact same bar, and how Thea is in the exact same situation that her idol was. |

| Honestly I’ve constantly said how Lily isn’t cut out to be a spy. But honestly she’s a fine spy she’s just really goofy and she just ain’t cut out to be the leader of lamplight. Thea really needs to step her game up. Not only did she free corpse she let herself he captured by him. She’s way to soft to be a spy. Hopefully next episode we can see her redeem herself and become that hero everyone mentions. |
| Maybe I'm off but I think Thea did what she did on purpose to get closer to Purple Ant, and it worked. However, she appears to be in a bind as he can kill her at any time but she at least knows how he looks like and may obtain additional info such as weaknesses. Looking forward to watching how this unfolds! |

| @Embient It represents that the bar scene is now on real time, no longer a flashback. It was a cool trick by the director there. |
| 2nd Part, Monika continues to prove how awesome she is by saving Cruella DeVille from her own self-termination attempt; and she rightly tells Sara to credit herself for her contribution. Well she's easily the cutest of the whole team so shouldn't that be good enough. Then Erna & Sybilla's fight against that chauffeur guy got really interesting, and they're starting to get closer to figuring out what's motivating all these assassins sent after Lamplight. It seems to be setting up the third season with this battle. This Purple Ant guy has 287 minions he influenced, and it's just begun so there's no way this is going to resolve without an abrupt, rushed ending. Unlike the rest of the team, Thea continues to be utterly useless, and I was wondering what was going to happen knowing Corpse is sitting bound in that bedroom with her there alone. She gonna betray the whole team again, no doubt. Well he easily convinces her (because she's a dullard) to free him, and of course she does. But as he attacks her, she got a look into his eyes finally.... not because of any talent on her part, but by complete fucking accident. She is not the person I'd want to learn the secret of Purple Ant, because such knowledge in her hands puts her entire team at risk and she will absolutely not do anything useful with it but blow her comrades' cover because she's an idiot. In the next episode, we get to see how. |
| Holy shit, Season 2 is getting even better and better. Come on Thea, really? There must be a twist incoming right? right? I'm just waiting for Klaus to come on the last second to save the day. |

| thea needs to get over whatever tf is going on. this isn't the first time she's let her emotions get the better of her during a mission, and i doubt it'll be the last tbh. she puts not only herself but the other girls in danger when she does this. |

It's either Thea gonna do something spectacular or she's just plain stupid, only time will tell.
Though what's certain is that we'll probably not gonna see Lily's backstory anytime soon.

| @EgatammaN While Lily will get her own ep, adapting the SS vol 2 story she got and get the character song for the CD. The CDs were always the giveaway that all girls would get their own SS episode, as they were solicited at the same time, 2 songs per CD (4 CDs total) back on S1 territory. Seriously they never hided how they would adapt the LNs... She also already got her ''volume'', that being Vol 1, where we got her backstory. ------- Anyway, If it isn't obvious enough all volumes focus on 1 girl as the main character, Vol 1 (Lily), vol 2 (Grete), vol 3 (Annette ), vol 4 (Thea), vol 5 (Erna)... plus the SS volumes that got several self contained stories for at least half the cast, There isn't a single main character on this series, it's whoever the volume is focusing on + whoever the SS chapter is focusing on. Anime has been doing 4 episodes per main volume, vol 4 will be over next week, Lily will get the last episode. |

| This seems too obvious for a "supposedly dumb" move quite honestly. Thea is stupid, yes, but after a series of monologues and everything I don't think she wouldn't have realized Corpse would do what he did if she free him. So, now she's with the main bad guy, purple ant.. very dumb name I must say, but the things he and his minions do are beyond horrific. Better someone deals with him quick. |

| These past few episodes try to build up the "use your teammates to victory no matter the method" theme, so no doubt Thea was actually manipulating Corpse so she could get close to Purple Ant and snuff him out. It's just her method of doing so is very vague atm Time for Thea to avenge her saviour after getting wiped out by Purple Ant and finally realizing her true abilities and purpose |

| 250+ spies... Yup, Ants indeed. And even Murica, I mean Mouzaia's CIA, I mean JJJ, couldn't do a thing. . Also... so... apparently Thea's "master" downfall was by the Ants... and apparently not even Klaus was able to stop him. But apparently all the "ants" people not only have installed to kill, but was somehow also installed to have hope of a hero... But it looks like Thea's downfall might also be the same as her master's... OOF |
