| Okay I know you are the MC but the world doesn't literally revolve around you. It's not your fault it started to rain lmao. Definitely some childhood trauma that they have yet to get into besides the no Mom in the picture and a seemingly disconnected Dad. Edit: Saw a comment explaining all the cut content that adds a lot more context for this sudden outburst. Yeah that feels like pretty critical stuff to make this "emotional" moment actually hit... Seems whoever decided what to adapt made some pretty poor choices just so they could end at something specific scene I'm guessing. Another unfortunate adaption. |

| Wow. This is like the first SoL anime where the characters whose drenched in rain and doesnt get cold the next day lol. Good job author for making a SoL anime a REAL SoL stuff. Who got sick after getting drenched in rain anyway, always wondering why its the textbook go-to plot in japanese anime/films. |
| Ganta inexplicably blaming himself for something (the rain, apparently) and then running away while making painful sounds was confounding, and seemed like a banal excuse to add some transitory drama to an anime that should just stick to the slice of life formula. |

| Ganta was more invested in this meteor shower going right then anyone could have expected. When the rain came crashing down, so did his morale. That bus stop scene with Isaki and Ganta spilling their hearts out to one another was superb! |
