| Very interesting stuff. Acca Howler seems to be our main villain, and if he is (which, lol, come on, very likely) I am VERY excited about, because we have FINALLY broken Toru's curse!!!!! No more main villains being introduced 7/8 of the way through a part!! Otherwise he seems very interesting to me. I really like his design, and his Stand seems interesting too. He reminds me SLIGHTLY of Gyro, and a little bit of Valentine how he says he discovered the powers of the Lava Rock when he was a child. It seems to me that he has been manipulating the rock form Hualalai to become as stupidly rich as he is -- the same thing Jodio wants to do. Otherwise, Bobby Jean and Lulu are a fun bunch. I bet you they won't be one time antagonists. Plus, Jodio's gang's interactions were hilarious, Usagi is probably one of the best comic relief main characters in the entire series. Very excited to see where this goes, Howler is an intimidating force!! |

| This was a really good chapter packed with lots of stuff. Howler seems like main villain material. The MRI shenanigans were funny. Excited to see how Glory Days works. |

| I got really hyped in this part during the first arc with the heist on Rohan's house, then it kinda died down. But I'm super hyped again because of this potential main antagonist. I really liked Acca Howler's design and it would be really cool if we got a main antagonist being introduced early on again. Even if there's a Howler family as the antagonists and he's not the head of the family I still want him to be the main villain. I think it would be cool to see him getting continuously screwed over because of Jodio and the lava rock, starting with those bankers and eventually by his family, making him getting gradually more pissed off. Btw, in his stand's elbow there's something that looks like the cover of King Crimson's album Larks' Tongues in Aspic, that's a cool stand name but probably it's too long. |

| Hahaha, that's exactly what I was thinking too. Maaan, this chapter was so, so, so peak. That goes for like, every chapter but far out, couldn't stop freakin' out while reading this one! The pace was great, what a way to introduce Acca Howler, the villain of the Part! The narrative, aaaah! The stuff with the rocks is awesome. The story implications for both the protag side as well as the villain side is strong, though every chapter's made that pretty evident. The comedy was great too, the protag group really feels their age in the best way. The MRI joke is so good, poor Usagi, hahaha. The paneling was also expert stuff, Araki being good at art and paneling isn't some weird surprise sure but what a fun chapter to read purely with how fun the pages were! Stand tease for Acca, plus a Stand reveal for Bobby? Duuuude. @ColintheBigYosh Funnily enough, while I started Part 8 back in high school, I stopped and waited till it was over before properly reading it, and yeah, even when reading it all in one go, the pace is way less fun/exciting compared to how reading Part 9 monthly has been. The second half of Part 8 was a slog, the exciting bits like Ojiro's return would only sometimes kick in. Basically every chapter here on the other side of things has been incredibly exciting/fun, Araki's cooking up one of the best Parts if it keeps this good throughout. |

| @ColintheBigYosh Yeah, the cat arc might be the least engaging part so far but if you see it as the prelude to the Charmingman fight, it's not much a problem! Like Part 5's worst fights (Little Feet as one of them) is still good, and the cat fight here was pretty funny at least and was a pretty neat ability to fight. I wouldn't put it down on the level of like, the Rock Insects, in engagement. But yeah, I agree still that aside from that fight the pace has been awesome in Part 9. |

| We already see Howler! That surprised me, hopefully he's one of the main villains that Araki builds up over time and doesn't come out of nowhere like Tooru. |

| It would be nice to have a villain that is present for a majority of the part again. I like part 8 a lot, but I do admit that it could've introduced Toru a bit earlier Looking like its gonna be an interesting fight next chapter. Although idk how they are gonna fight the user if they all just got swisscheesed by gunfire in their first encounter |
