Its on production most likely wont air until 2025 at minimum but would you expect and want in the adaptations such as how many episodes and how much would you want to be adapted also remember that its adapting the webtoon not the webnovel which is sad since the webtoon did remove some minor moments

I expect it to at most reach the 5th scenario unless it gets rushed like GOH I'll be optimistic whatever happens I'm happy it got a anime and honestly I would love it to release around the same time LOTM donghua releases

It seems they're adapting the manhwa. The novel is better but the manhwa is a very very good adaptation of the novel so the anime will hit as well if it follows the manhwa well.

@GRG3, but the manhwa is ongoing, they have to adapt the novel to be a complete anime adaptation.

@GRG3, anyway that they completely adapt the novel hopefully in two seasons each 20+ episodes. I haven't read the manhwa yet.

@GRG3, I wrote about the novel, 105 chapters is pretty real to adpat in two seasons each 24-26 episodes.

no it's 551 chaps, the novel has 551 chaps. The manhwa has been going on before 2020 and isn't even halfway yet. It has 212 chaps(I think) and is about to reach 1/3 of the story(about like chap 180 in the novel or sumn). Idk why it's 105 chaps on MAL but still. So they won't be able to adapt ORV completely in 2 seasons without severe pacing issues.

I am pumped. But they will be adapting the manhwa and not the novel. So yea. I hope the pacing is good and they remain faithful to the source material. I don't want them to ruin my number 1 webtoon.

@GRG3 web novel has 551 chapters, but they probably merged them in novel edition using episodes - since there are 99 episodes and 5 epilogue chapters

as long as it doesn't skimp on the gritty details I'll be contempt with the adaptation. At this stage we're not too sure about the faithfulness this adaptation will serve

What I expect is that the anime will inevitably differ from the novel and manhwa in one way or another and the fanbase is going to throw a hissy fit and downrate it into hell, doing their best to tank the ratings. Then the studio will decided continuing isn’t profitable enough and drop the series at some point, and it won’t be readapted for decades since the licensing will be stuck in bureaucratic purgatory.

I’m excited for it to be done on screen, but to expect a perfect recreation should be, at this point, widely known as improbable. Corners must be cut and scenes changed 🙄

So im banking on the community to ruin OMV anime xD

Anime almost always adapt the original material. If you look at any light novel adapted into manga and anime, the anime always adapts the LN ie the original work so there’s no issues on that front in ORV’s case

I'm expecting it to be at least somewhat or much better than something like solo leveling or Tower of God mainly because they both came from webtoons/manhwas.

Hope the adaptation is not rushed at all and faithful to the source material or skyrockets it even though I haven't read it.

i hope they get a great anime cuz aniplex is the licensor and less cuts on the anime because some details affect the story, not to mention it has a good story, it shouldn't be wasted.

As long as YJH is the most majestic, beautiful man ever, I can't complain. (I'm exaggerating of course...)

I'm hoping they don't rush the pacing but there's also a balance between dragging things out too much that they'll need to get a handle on I guess? But I'm VEEEERY excited to see YJH... C:

The anime art is gonna be inevitably different from it's manhwa counterpart, same as solo leveling. So my expectation is still there but not expecting some accurate replication. After all, i don't really care about how they will replicate the manhwa panel. It's how they are able to recreate the magic i felt when i read the original web novel 4 years ago. Right now with the manhwa adaptation, has read up to chapter 55 and currently on hold, i don't really know if it's gotten better at it. But it feels somewhat different than what i imagine it to be when i read the web novel. Althought it still a good one, i personally find it lost some of the magic the original web novel had. That's the point i kinda want the anime team to pull off, as the manhwa is kinda lacking at it. But don't get me wrong, it's still a good read.

My expectations: Solo Leveling fans will have a Meltdown. I feel many people will mistake it for a cheap copy of Solo Leveling for a few eps, but they'll soon start to acknowledge the actual plot and character Dynamics in ORV.

I might be too Optimistic here, but in future, if the Adaptation is Good, it'll be Extremely well Recieved and if the anime manages to reach the epilogue, it'll be the Greatest of all Time. And Solo Leveling will stay on it's mid course..ugh-uh ugh ugh-.... 🗣️
Well, since LOTM is also Releasing this Year, reading all the rumours about LOTM anime, I wanna put my Faith in te adaptation, although I know it won't be nearly as good as the novels, but I believe it'll Definitely Shape Modern Fantasy in a drastic Way, making an Influence on the future titles to come. Might overshadow ORV in terms of Adaptation, but I don't think it'll take down ORV in terms of Popularity.
WISHED I COULD ALSO GET TRANSPORTED TO A WORLD FULL OF MAGIC And DUNGEONS, please take me there too if you could ( ◜‿◝ )
