 Publisher Kadokawa opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Yuji Iwahara's Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha manga on Tuesday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and the first promotional video.Cast Alicia: Haruka Shiraishi (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai) Clen: Mutsumi Tamura (Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii) Clevates: Yuichi Nakamura (Haikyuu!!) Kadokawa began serializing the manga under its Alive+ magazine on the ComicWalker website on April 23. The first and second volumes are scheduled to go on sale on July 5. Synopsis Alicia, who had dreamed of becoming a hero since childhood, is chosen by the king as one of the thirteen heroes. Armed with a legendary sword, the heroes set out to defeat the Demon King Clevatess. However, their recklessness triggers a terrible crisis that could wipe out all of humanity on the continent of Edsea. Now, the world's only hope lies with a baby entrusted to the Demon King. | English translations never really got that far with the manga so it's kind of hard to judge where the series is going. The color palette during the PV is pretty dark, wonder if they'll keep it that way for the show. |
