First: I’d like to point out that anime are not realistic, so getting all hung up on their ways of survival in this anime is illogical.

Second: If I have learned anything about this material, it is that they are always trying to find new ways to “shock and awe” the audience, whether this be in a fight scene or with a pregnancy, so being surprised by such a thing in anime is also illogical.

Third: What exactly is wrong with him, in his world, in a desperate situation to save, to feed his own flesh to the girls as substance, when their lives are on the line, and his own flesh was the best option for their survival?

Fourth: Do you really think that they should have just let the mothers and their babies die because there was no other source of sustenance for them?

There’s no way yall are real human beings getting upset with this comment. This is the most basic “wtf” type comment ever 💀 if you into seeing people rip off body parts and feed it to people that’s ur business.

Wait a minute, I was not bothered or upset, I explained that I was genuinely asking you what they should have done in this situation in the anime.

Also, it is the not the first time I have seen this type of survival in media, meaning books / movies / shows / comics / cartoons / anime, so I did not have the same response as you.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

@ejleon Hey man I'm glad to see you again.

I agree. In terms of isekai, this is very unique in terms of the morality of the characters (mainly Ogrou or Yanti-Doji) and the different subjects explored, such as survival of the fittest, slavery, establishing dominance, sexual intercourse, and so on.

Hello, glad to talk again, hope all is well. Yes, I agree with you points.

That is not what I said, I was trying to ask your perspective on the anime, but you lashed out at me.

the stag was an interesting piece, and it was funny when he saved the humans but the hero dude knew they were fucked.

1/5 mainly because I hate seeing pregnant anime girls in any show, disgusting.

Now I can see how Re:Monster became the predecessor of TenSura. While it's more like a 'senpai' of TenSura (it predated the TenSura LN by 2 years or more) in terms of the concepts used in this isekai genre, it really was one of the first, if not the only one, which really explored the premise during those times (though I encountered some LN with similar concept from that year).
Well, this new phase Ogrou is now in, is just half-way of what he is now in the manga adaptation.
@tekkenshu7 I'm probably very close to the chapter, depending on when it happens, 88 had a moment I was quite happy about and it was cute too in the aftermath. Apparently there's also a sequel manga/novel where they go to the Dark Continent?

Ogrou learning the twins names after they gave birth to his kids is wild. I guess that means he finally appreciates them. Better late than never I suppose!
@Magicmist I think he specifically named them, which is more than most ogre dads would do, especially if they r*ped human women

@Marinate1016 But if he can regenerate his arm, then it hurts no one. Plus as I established, there was no other option. Would you rather Ogrou allow his children and wives to die?

Dawg no one gives a fuck about the regeneration it’s the act of ripping off his arm and having them eat it raw that we’re talking about. Nothing more nothing less. It’s wild. Now stop mentioning me and spamming the thread
@Marinate1016 He chewed it up at least, but given what we've seen when someone had a drop of his blood in their mouth, I think there's probably no actual medical risk, it's more the concept, which the twins were understandably reluctant to do, mostly because they're very compassionate and wanting to help, not have others help them

@KiliianSleipnir YEah, it was a slow process, I think much of it was behind the scenes anyway and progressive absorption: first Funi, then Crunchyroll and then rolling all those subsidiaries together

Don’t know why this isn’t rated higher or why people are complaining.

I don’t read the written material, but I am really enjoying this show.

It is fun and interesting, a nice change of pace from other anime.

It was funny that the end wrapped up like an old computer system.
@ejleon I feel the same way. MAL is chock full of crybabies and whiners.

@Vicmiceli The children are a nice breath of fresh air in the series, though they tend to still get sidelined so far. I'm about 6 chapters behind what we have of the manga, but we actually got developments that were quite nice. Only halfway through the episode and I'm wondering what the progression will be, since the manga has a development I'm thinking might be slightly delayed.

It was a solid episode with a good amount of main story development.

Sped through childbirth. But that is fine by me.

Seeing what's next (assumedly kids) is much better than waiting around here.

I hope we complete or fully extend to the Princess's storyline.

As Tomboy Princess and her previous episode was my favorite thus far. She didn't get as much of a role here. I see that changing in the next episode.

Gobrou finally has kids after 111 days of existing in the new world. They happen to be a a mixed race of ogre and human but with similar abilities to his.

Wow seems like something is about to go down. After eating the antlers Gobrou gains special powers that have sealed names m. I wonder what the end meant when he failed to evolve, his subordinates also gained titles.

The kids are adorable. Gratz you three. Ogarou evolved again and is this the final one? Looked kinda epic with the sunlight during the post credit scene there. The antler had a mythical vibe too.

Ogres having problems with humans? No problem, because Rubilia can handle them easily, done deal.

After reaching Mason Village, Ogrou and his group have the best time of their lives entertaining the small human village, though it was short-lived because they have to move on fast. The cooking sisters Felicia and Tima experiencing childbirth at a rapid pace, and not to mention having Ogrou's children, ogre children are more venerable to malnourish their mother hosts fast, and while Ogrou offers a part of his flesh to help them get through their pain, they definitely need all of the treatment they can, plus the safe delivery of the babies which would make a good lesson back at home. Congratulations to Ogoru being a father of 2 on his 111th day, but the advice from Gobiji of the kids being mixed-blood, society may shun them, but Ogrou will not abandon them, plus the kids Auro and Argento (based on their respective orbs) will be a big source of hope.

Facing humans taking on a rather formidable enemy, Ogrou subconsciously helping them on the sidelines and even parting them with a gift, they may fear him, but know of his greatness also. But the white stag's antler giving him abilities that he could not identify, that gave him a boost of abilities to max out.

The whole range of abilties being maxed out for Ogrou, what is truly his limit?

I like when anime think I should know everything what’s happening. Like why tf just the twins are pregnant? I’m gonna guess they didn’t sleep with the MC while being on the road so when tf they are become pregnant? Why are they both pregnant? Like can the anime just give a fucking explanation to stupid things its doing or not?
