| So this Irisphilia girl and Haruto are alike in some ways. It's funny how it's always him getting involved in some sort of incident with another girl. Speaking of which, the girls were all thinking of him while in their hot springs. I'd say that Haruto's school life has been a mix of chaotic but also fun. |

| So that girl's name is Irisphilia huh? After the Schneider incident last episode, a lot of rumors surrounding Haruto became a rumor even within the school. One day, that one girl that Haruto saved last episode happens to pass by Haruto, who is suffering from the persistent solicitations from Tiarietta and Laius. Haruto manages to escape from the scene by making up an excuse, and ends up having his first serious conversation with the mysterious girl. According to her story, like Haruto, she was abandoned at birth and lived a closed and lonely life. And she called herself "Irisphilia". It only took one incident and Haruto has already become popular around his school eh? So many rumors about him going around the school thanks to that noble kid from last episode. At least Haruto made a friend at the academy, that being Irisphilia. She's very persistent I can't lie. Both of them being alone their whole life at least makes them have something in common. Is "Iris" as Haruto nicknamed her really the demon lord reincarnated? It'd be interesting if she actually was, and she probably is. We'll need more clarification from Frey in the future though. With Haruto picking Tiarietta's course, I can tell she's going to be filled with exicment next episode. |

| Ah yes, another white haired waifu who was male in the past life reincarnated as a woman. Inglis in winter and now Irisphilia. Both amazing waifus. I knew I liked Irisphilia when she was introduced, I like her even more now lol. Love how overly formal Irisphilia is at first. She really just wants a friend. Between she anos and Maou this season I’m not sure who the kindest demon Lord is! Flay’s little lore dump provided some important context. Even when faced with his defeat, the demon Lord prioritised the escape of his fellow demons. Really noble sacrifice. Of course Haruto’s first thought is whether or not he could use her to help with things at school 😂 Speaking of Haruto, seeing everyone fight over his signature to get him in their magic research class was funny. Bringing a girl back to his room? How scandalous. Char couldn’t even believe it. Silly end to the episode there with covering Iris’ eyes so Char could return thru the portal. I wonder how long it’ll be till Irisphilia finds out all about Haruto Fun episode |

| I did not see Iris being the former demon king and I figured she was from another species when she kept saying things like human doing things a certain way kind of like Flay. However, with with her eyes being red I can see that now although I was starting to think that maybe Haruto was the former demon king. Anyways, the interactions between Char and Iris were funny and Haruto becoming more popular and making a friend, how is he going to be expelled now? lol |

| Instead of being despised, Haruto is revered all across the magic academy, what a change. Professor Tearietta meets Haruto again, as well as both Laius and Marianne, on where does he wants to enroll, and they argue over Haruto's inclusion. The thing is, thank god that the same white-haired servant was there to ask Haruto about something, and he escaped with her, the latter having suspicions about Haruto and his copy. And Haruto surmised that she could be a demon, though how she just exclaims that she is a human. Being thankful that he saved her out from Schneider's hands, her story is even worse than Haruto's, but being friends who come from the same background, Haruto only wants friends who can bail him out, and being in the same lab as Tearietta, he has no choice but to suck it up to her. While Flay, Liza and Char take a breather, Flay shares with her communion with the Demon King, though the name of Irisphilla, that for sure I did not expect the white-haired girl to be the one. Sure, while he brought Iris back, Char sure has that idea of becoming his wife, the thinking of kids. Hah, literally throwing dice like fate for picking his classes, might as well as Char to do it for him...and then go back using the Anyplace Door which is a mystery for her. All in a bid to get expelled, that is Haruto's ultimate goal. |

She is, it’s confirmed in this episode.they literally speak the name Irisphilia at the same time lmao and she switched to speaking in a more masculine way. Not sure why my comment stood out to you either when everyone else on the thread agrees and is saying the same thing
| @Marinate1016 No i mean in general, the novel never fully confirms it, it's one of the loose ends of the novel, a name does not mean anything really other than a hint. I'm not saying she isn't, but the novel and manga kinda just drop this development soon and so far we don't know much else, my point is this is brought up here and so far, never again in the story, not even much of a hint at it except for her elemental affinity being more towards dark magic. It's so vague that some people think iris is the half human daughter, but personally i do believe she's the former demon lord, maybe current but considering haruto i don't know how it matters who it is. |

| this show started off with a bang and has fizzled out so hard in the last few episodes. it's a damn shame, if the MC wasn't absolute garbage this could've been a good one for the season. 2/10 |

| Why is this anime SO bright? This isn't specifically a comment on this episode but more the series as a whole. Some of the scenes just randomly look like a flash bang went off to the point that the characters look faded out behind the bright light even when there is no reason for anything to be that bright. |
| Ahhh so Iris is the demon lord reincarnate. That explains some things. I assume she has all her past memories like Haruto otherwise she wouldnt have kept the name. So she is more like him than he seemed to understand. I noticed this too. A lot of scenes look completely washed out. I had several moments throughout i had to check i didnt download an ulta low definition version because it causes line art to become more pixelated looking sometimes. This episode i also noticed a missing sound effect. There was a visual effect to the professor grabbing Haruto's arm but no sound. |

| Too many students are attracted to Hart who just wants to live a quiet life in the academy. It's good to see Hart's blood relatives at the academy and especially the guy - in a better light than before, he's changed for the better. Seems like the white hair can detect the miasma from Hart's original body vs his clone which lacks that miasma/density of mana. White hair is so naive and open, she full on gave Hart her backstory. "I was abandoned" ahh they both are made for each other lol |
