| Just like I said in the title. Not just this show , anime in general , also manga, are getting kinda boring. There are few gems that pop up, but most of them are really badly executed. Season 1 had at least nice action , it kept me at least invested enough to keep watching. Season 2 i kept skipping. I really am tired when they do OP MC and then his like , I will let my students fight that learned from me for 3 days, and now they are so strong ,while I watch them fight and cheer. This season felt like it tried to do some world building , but it did it so poorly I skipped most of it. When I watch a show like this, I like to see MC doin cool stuff. Because this is simple isekai, thats the reason I really liked Shadow. He was perfect as an MC in that setting. Kinda in my mind why do you need to do bad complications without any purpose. No one watches these shows because they are so deep. Its that kind of anime you can switch off and just enjoy the action and MC being OP. PS. I know some of you might find this season better. This is just my humble opinion on not just this anime , but on anime in general these days. |

| Accept the slow “heroes” part in the beginning that felt like a different show I have been enjoying the rest of this season, just as much as the first season. The characters, story telling, humor, art, animation, music, are similar, as far as I can tell, to the first season. The world building and exploring were interesting. They introduced new characters that were good. I was happy he became a teacher of students that learned to respect his power and knowledge, then helped him to take out the enemy, using skills they learned while under his training. I was glad that even though he was mistreated by the merchants guild, his group was able to be at the forefront of saving everyone, earning respect from the elites of the countries, which benefits his group. And his new mana ability was totally crazy fun. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

| to be fair the first season was just as lame, its simply not a very good show. Its overall just decent, but has a somewhat interesting setting with MC beeing cursed by the goddess |

| @LucenProject Except that's a false equivalency scenario as everything has it's detractors, even frieren which last i checked is the highest rated anime on this site and this thread is literally designed to consolidate those numbers. I've said multiple times that this series is not a action series at it's core and anyone who comes into this expecting a action adventure isekai is going to have problems with it, this series is more similar to that time i got reincarnated as a slime, a slice of life worldbuilding show that has action every once in a while, it is not a action oriented show (i mean how could it be, makoto is basically a god and his direct subordinates are borderline demigods), the main difference is slime had more slice of life in it's first season than this did so it didn't give the wrong idea. I don't remember if i mentioned this in season 1 but season 1 had a tendency to be more action oriented due to the faster pacing, season 2 is more similar to how the story actually functions and i believe alot of people are getting the wrong idea about the type of series this is because of that. |

| it is very boring yes. imagine having all this power and an entire town in a pocket dimension and going, "yeah, im gonna become a teacher" this entire season is SHLOCK, and most characters aren't even interesting |
| Unfortunately I agree. I was really looking forward to this sequel, because season 1 is a really solid isekai with interesting characters. But season 2 feels like a bunch of build-up episodes with no pay-off so far. |
