Inglis froze Seilyn as a prison and was going to transfer her far away from the surface people so she doesn't destroy or kill anyone. But the Bandit leader wants to just kill Seilyn, however seeing how Inglis seems to care a lot about Seilyn, he got a sort of soft heart I guess. And the Bandit leader apparently can also cast Aether (Divine) magic that seems to "suck out" majority of Aether that's inside Seilyn's monster body. And in doing so it shrunk the monster down to Mini sized. Also, remember Seilyn as monster showed that there's still some of Seilyn's consciousness (as Seilyn was about to kill herself as she doesn't want to hurt the kids), so I guess some of Seilyn's friendly personality stayed with the Mini Seilyn. Tho as I previously mentioned, I am not sure if it's all of Seilyn in Mini-monster or just a part of it... since it looks like she can't talk and has the personality of a kid. |

| I find this anime and Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei (The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady) to be more entertaining and fun to watch than Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! which I dropped. I don't understand why the latter is more popular. Female protagonists ftw. Good that there are more fantasy-themed anime with female protagonists, like one of the first ones was Slayers in the 90s I guess. |

We got to see our battle junkie meet her match with someone who may be another divine knight and we got to see why the mana in the city was being drained. This episode had kind of a bitter end at least to me. Like lady Seilyn really just wanted to help the people in the city, but was denied that chance by the bloodchain brigade, even though she was probably one of the only good highlanders out there. Really excited to see where they go from here though and I wonder if they'll ever go back to that city! I mean from here they're going to the capital right? Would it be possible for Lyn to be cured there? I highly doubt it but it's a nice thought :D |

| continuing from last episode, Inglis is excited to fight this new herald menace, she is always happy at these times LOL the enemy just using her spear while Inglis easily dodges them and comes close to punch her, oh my, what a bully the other girl is trying to beat the highlander to save people, meanwhile English is like "sorry i'm just earning money and having fun", is she the villain? lols oh, Sistia has an attack that reminds me of Kiana from Honkai, using void portals to attack from wherever lol but that's nothing, after the initial surprise, Inglis is back to easily dodging everything bored of the fight, time to finish her with one knee in the belly worrying for her life, Sistia attacks Rafinha, and with that she is allowed to leave but before that, Inglis tells her to come fight as much as she wants, but better not touch Rafinha again lol they both said their names, and hopefully they meet again later back to the highlander (why is there no picture of her in Anilist? geez lmao) there were no casualties on her side, and she intends to let the bad guys who attacked her repent and turn back into knights who serve her , that's admirable (but is it true?) next, she showed them the magic circles under the castle, the ones that have been absorbing mana, and told them about the land literally turning into more highland, and the people who leave there, will either be slaves or need to leave ... that's why Sistia was fighting as a nice person, Saline says she will ask the superiors to let them live freely, and possibly going into a war to make that happen, but she still feels bad for keeping it a secret, so she told them HAHAHAHA as Rafinha's squire, Inglis has no saying in the decisions, that's what having an higher position means :D Rafinha decided to believe Seline and even asked her to let them join the knights in the future ofc to Inglis, that just means a chance to fight with highlander soldiers LOL this girl, i swear oh no, Saline turned into a monster after drinking the tea made by that maid is she freaking dumb? what is the beast destroyed the city? wow Saline instantly fired a beam at the woman lol zama mirou hopefully theres a way to save Saline, but i don't have high hopes for that the leader of the steelfront is here, and he seems to be as strong as Inglis together with Sestia, they are trying to finish Saline the 3 kids crying managed to make Saline regain her counciousness for a bit and she almost blasted herself, but Inglis stopped her taking a deal with the other 2, she will tryi her best to wake Saline up, but in exchange, they need to leave the city right after, so the 2 can destroy the magic circle using all her aether, she uses a big ice attack which completely stops Saline, and with the knight's help, by making her small, they can move her to some other place, i wonder what will happen to her ... (for now she is a super cute pet and she seems to like big boobs lols) as promissed they left the city, but where will they go? don't miss next episode because ... we won't either (lol dragonball reference?) |

| Do you guys legit think there is no 'good' or 'bad' guys in this show/episode? or are you repeating it just because the show told you to think that? Suppose there was a factory secretly polluting a town's water supply and the company knows, the manager of the factory feels bad about it and promises to try to eventually help the town's people pay for the their eventual cancer treatments and funerals....but keeps quite and keeps polluting -that's Seilyn, she's not "good", just 'not as bad as she could have been'. Highlanders are obviously doing extremely bad things; the surface people are pretty much conquered slaves/hostages and they are being exploited and colonized. And our MC is an Amoral battlemonger -her attitude/actions could make her sub for a villain's top henchman in tons of other trashy anime; not that there is anything wrong with that but yeah nothing special or enlightened about it. As of Episode 4: Highlanders are the conquers/occupiers, Bloodchain Brigade are the resistance/rebels and the MC/co. is alternating between collaborator and mercenary....it's not exactly complicated or "grey". |
| In this episode both sides were both in the right and in the wrong. Pretty much the same way it often is in real life when there's conflict. Seilyn was a good person, but a bit naive. The highlanders would never have granted the citizens highlander status. Perpetuating their cruelty on the city was wrong, but her motives were good. Black Mask and his followers on the other hand don't discriminate between good and evil. They targeted Seilyn simply because she was highlander, which is bad. It makes me wanna be against them. However, their goals for the city were good, they probably saved a lot in the long run. The most amicable solution would be to remove Seilyn from power instead of causing a huge incident with the whole transformation and let everything else stay as it was. Another thing I didn't like in this episode was how indifferent Inglis was to obvious signs that something nefarious was afoot. Not wanting to get caught up in political matters and be forced to participate in them is not the same as not caring if you might be supporting an evil cause. |
