| I always thought that any doubt of a 2nd season came from the fact that there's barely enough source material to adapt for another season & the amount of time it would take to get enough material & then adapt it - not that the anime wasn't financially successful. |
| Anything can be, the adaptation did make a good profit and was recently named Anime of the Year (I think deservedly so) at the Anime Trending Awards. Plus the adaptation has been a good advertisement for the ongoing manga, so I'm sure a sequel is a possibility. However, keep in mind that everything depends on the production committee and it will take a long time to create the animation. If there is a sequel, I hope Hirotaka Mori returns to direct, he took a very responsible approach to the source material. |

| @MisterMichael the staff behind this anime is doing kaiju #8 season 1 at the moment so maybe after that finish airing we might get a sequel for heavenly delusion |
