At first I almost didn't like this show, under normal circumstances I would have abandoned it in the first 5 minutes of episode 1. But because I was watching it while eating lunch, my hands were full, so I watched it until the end. Turns out the story is pretty good.

Now I'm on episode 6. If I weren't a MAL user, I definitely wouldn't have these thoughts, but, don't you guys think the poster missed the mark? At first I thought this was a story about two girls who have an affair because I didn't see two people below them. However, in the first episode I'm upset because they made me to watch the adventure of skeleton instead. Then after this far, I haven't found anything that the brunette girl does that deserves her to be featured that big on the poster. On top of that, what happen to the blonde? But I do love Lorraine.

The first poster was just the main character, and the title is "unwanted undead adventurer", it's a you problem ngl, you focused on the wrong thing even tho it was pretty obvious what this was about

I think your mind is a little distorted to want to abandon a work in the first 5 minutes. And of course the work won't be focus so much in the romance, at least for now, since he's a completely finished living dead man, maybe when he has a more "human" appearance we'll have more focus on that, but it is unlikely.

Two girls having an affair? Lmaoo, I don't know how you thought that, it made me laugh now that I see the poster.
Also, don't skip any anime after watching it for only 5 minutes. Watch the full episode atleast

well I guess both of us started watching this anime under common circumstances (while eating lunch). but I never noticed the poster, I was just interested because it's name seemed unique. however I was disappointed with the production quality then I realised and lowered my expectations and it's a good one for time pass

I didn't and don't take the posters for this and all other series overly literally. Especially because if you click on the image, it links you to a page which shows there are usually multiple different ones which are sometimes released at different times as promos or are alternated and swapped out for one another down the line. It's all kind of arbitrary and shouldn't be taken extremely literally and seriously as a 1:1 representation of what is supposed to be in a series.

I agree, concept of the poster is quite bad and not at all aligned to the plot (at least based on what I have watched so far).

And in terms of pure design it is also kinda bleak and uninspiring.

So, I'd say the poster is not representing the anime at all.

But on the other hand it's just a poster and if the creators/owners are ok with it's marketing value, I'd say they can keep whatever they want, not that I care much :)
