I am saying this as a black clover fan myself and everywhere i see some black clover movie content, there will be comments stating that we need to watch the h*ll out of the movie to show the studio how much we love this.

I mean studio Pierrot is also busy with Bleach which already has a pretty huge fanbase compared to black clover so their first priority will always be to satisfy Bleach fans.

Maybe studio already have plans for it or maybe they don't πŸ€”

What if? After movie becomes a huge hit. The studio makes it a cash grabber with bare minimum efforts put into it.

Please keep in mind that i do not fully understand how studios work.

Please provide your opinions πŸ™

I mean, it’s pretty obvious that they plan to continue the anime IMO. I think they’re just waiting for the manga to wrap up- so they can do it without having to worry about filler episodes etc.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see BC back by Fall of next year, after they’ve completely finished with Bleach.

If bleach “needed” to get revived then ofc black clover needs to, black Clover should finish up sometime this or early next year so it’ll be back soon. The studio knows what they’re doing.

I mean it sucks because I'm not going to make it to the theaters if they let us rent it online I would but we probably have to wait a year to watch it

the fillers ruined the shows reputation in my eyes. I lived the serious arcs but the fillers were way too much. I'd rather have Black Clover be a seasonal anime than it airing all year round. they literally wasted 6 months with filler episodes and when things got good they ended the damn show. I Want BC to return but dammit make it with seasons so that you can also get the time to animate things properly

... Well, that's not saying much about how great a hope the creators have for it. I mean, other anime movies (for series) have aired in theatres/cinemas, but I guess this wasn't marketable/good enough for a cinematic release. Which, I suppose is fine. I don't have netflix - and can't be bothered getting it just for one movie -, so I guess I'll just pass until I can find it elsewhere.

So you would pay to watch it in the theater and pay to rent it online, but won't pay for one month of Netflix in order to watch it online?

Make it make sense...

Having 6 months of filler episodes just to start an interesting arc only to end the show midway. Doesn't sound well planned out to me

except that's exactly what they did, plan out the conclusion of this portion of the anime

nobody made you watch the filler. it was known ahead of time there would be upcoming filler content precisely because they planned it out...

also, plenty of shows go on a 6 month "hiatus" - similar to what you're complaining about here - just to air a ~13 episode cour before going on another break

filler didn't "ruin" naruto. people just skip it

there are just like 15/20 fillers in 170 episodes and most of them are atleast watchable if you love black bulls

Actually, it does make sense, far as I'm concerned. There is no point starting a subscription - especially if keeping track of everything I've got going on might lead me to forget to cancel it - for a single movie that might not be all that and ending up potentially paying more in the long run. But a cinema ticket doesn't come out so expensive and it's a one time thing. Much of the profits come from the popcorn, drinks, etc... and if I forgo that, it's not so bad. Plus, you can sometimes get free cinema tickets with insurance and such.

total nonsense. cancel your subscription after you watch the movie. set an alarm/notification on your phone prior to the subscription renewing

super easy to alleviate your concerns. and after they're alleviated, a 1-month subscription is basically the same as the other options you said you preferred

if they plan to continue, they should wait until the manga is over and then add the new season if they do, but idk since they are busy with bleach. But if they I hope they do a remake of it or do like a summary of the main events if the viewers don't want watch 100+ ep and continue from there so that way no fillers get in the way.

before the movie was announced, I believed their plan was to pick up where the anime left off once bleach was finished. If I had to guess, black clover is probably being announced or coming back during 2025.

Splice together a few recap movies or something. No new material.

when smooth brain anime fans have an opinion the thread:
reiwa weebs will unironically tell u they want a remake or sequel but when they get it ,its suddenly souless and a cashgrab cause they dont like the thing anymore and cant fathom they grew out of it and must mean the show somehow became bad

Do you know how much more content will it be?
Like where did the anime end in the manga, chapter wise and where is it now

The movie is garbage. That being said I think they wanted to make sure fans do not forget about BC because will take some time before they make a sequel series. Thye tried to mimic what Kimetsu no Yaiba did, but failed because ... NETFLIX sucks
