Cultured PFP guy, there is currently no announcement for any season 2 production.
Although there might be some hope due to the huge success of this anime but it will take a year or two for the mangaka and the studio to release the second season.

Well there's no official announcement but given this a very popular and profitable manga, it had the highest TV anime sales on numination, Shin ei animation studios made like 3 seasons of Takagi san and a bunch of seasons of doraemon, and as a manga reader season 2 will be even better than season 1. then there'll definitely be a second season

I really do hope there will be a 2nd season but unless we are really lucky ill bet itll take a couple years for it to air. although with luck on our side the possibility of a 2nd season coming out in the fall this year would be a miracle. but no announcements about it yet so we just gotta hope.

Every 2 weeks a new chapter. But there's some material before you catch up. And totally worth it.

I seriously hope they make a season 2, for those who read the manga, we know how much better it gets. Season 2 will be really good.

Hoping Shin-ei will be able to keep their rep like when they handled the Takagi-san franchise and continue to secure the license even longer.

There's so much content in the chapters of the manga after the ones covered in the episodes so they should not run out of content for an anime (like there's the First Visit, Valentine's, Graduation Send-off and everything before the School Field Trip).
They could even end the entire anime franchise on THAT confession if they want to and I'll be okay with it (but we won't get to see blonde Yamada πŸ˜†)

after this season. if the popularity of this anime in Japan increases. then only there'll be hope.
I hope this will receive Season 2

The confession part is still too far from what they have covered until now. 
- the anime is still on Chapter 53 as of episode 11, so I don't think we'll get one before the season ends since there still tons of character development before it happened, sadly. It will need at least another season to reach that.

I'm in the same boat as you, I don't want it to end. This is one of the shows where I'd be very disappointed if we never got another season, hopefully we get an announcement soon after season 1 finishes.

 SPOILERS BROOOOOO, I did not need to read what chapter and get confirmed of their future all in one go like that...
Although I am now glad and happy to learn of this information, just need a season 2 to be confirmed as soon as possible.
