| the production company looks to be running low on money for this so I will be surprised if they can actually adapt it all the way to the end. They need like Quintuplets sales to be like a 7 season series. |
| Nah there's a lot more content for them to adapt. With how successful the series has been I doubt that they'd stop adapting the show now. |

The same happened to spy x where people automatically said it was the best without comparing. Way too much recency bias now. People haven't seen shows like saekano where it's popularity and reception extended well past the ending of the anime. Take out that absolutely phenomenal movie, though, and that series is slightly above average at it's best. I will say it again: Different leagues. This movie is a different story. It did not do well AT ALL despite heavy marketing from A1 pictures ( a high end studio). The people posting about Kaguya elitism are not lying. The movie is very disjointed barely felt like it had a finale. Yet it has a higher rating than Makoto Shinkai films which makes no sense unless it is from brigading. Heck even season 3 suffered dips due to filler like content as seen on corner polls and only sold 2k copies per disc which is not high by aniplex standards. Saekano fine is much better movie than this. Recency bias and more active fandoms is a huge reason why people are saying Kaguya best romance, anime etc. You don't know how many angry kaguya fans spammed when DAL an older show often ranked higher on corner polls. Right now we are seeing Aka fans again with Oshi and the ratings. Oshi is a great show so far but others warned it already hit its peak and the mal rating. So we will see |
| I also can't really understand how Kaguya can even theoretically be worse than that unpopular + 1000+ ratings behind things. I mean Kaguya is a masterpiece (a one single title I rated 10 for its many seasons and film) and I dunno what that person is talking about. "Spy x" is not even close too, personally I dislike it ...But guess that I will check Saekano out of curiosity |
