| I was really excited when I saw the announcement. Shiny colors has my favorite character designs in the imas franchise. Until I saw the studio that was gonna animate it and it will most likely be fully 3D. It can still be good, but I don't have high expectations. At least there still is U149 to look forward to. |

But I wonder if the Sanzigen's standards is leaving everyone in the dust at this point. What is peculiar is the 3D pivot that Bandai has been doing. They are using Studio Orange (Trigun Stampede) for the Idolish7 movie...due in 2 months time...wonder how this will turn out. And now this. Didnt even use A1 like they did before. So this leaves out Love Live with Sunrise + Sublimation, will they go full 3D CGI as well, not just during performances? Yeah polygon is actually a pretty decent one that was what I thought too, until I saw the PV...but things usually improve alot from the first PV so I guess we can wait and see how it goes. What surprised me the most was the decision to whip out SC animation this early, even the producers in the SC 5th live day 2 were all bewildered when they announced that ig nobody saw it coming. Maybe they really do want to get things wrapped up for 2nd vision like what boazanian said. IM@S era might be upon us again. And also they actually decided to air ML and SC in movie format splitting into 3 sessions ahead of the actual screening time on TV, not sure what's their take on that. ML anime actually was supposed to be done by A1 too but somehow they ditched them and went for shirogumi, PV's looking real decent though so I guess I can have some sort of anticipation here. I actually don't mind full 3DCGI , we've had a few successes, but more often ended up failure is my concern. Hopefully this one will be good. Btw, Tsubasa, Kotoha, Tenka and meguruP here. | Time will only tell how actually the 3D saves the series, or turns it down. I'm not liking it so much for now since iM@s Cinderella Girls, Cinderella Girls Gekijou and U149 are all animated and (Except for A-1 Pictures "quality") all of them are great. Otherwise I'm longing to see Kogane, Chiyoko, and Koito |
