| There seems to be a lot of doom and gloom here. I just finished reading volume 6 which had been in my backlog since March and also just pre-ordered volume 7, the final volume which drops in a couple of months. It does seem to be heading towards the authors intended conclusion. Here is a word for word quote from the authors afterword in the most recent volume: In this volume, Kagami, who was nothing but a victim in the original self published version of the story, finds salvation by meeting Chie. The original version clocked in at under 100 pages, I have been having fun watching how the series changed and expanded as I drew it. And now the story is almost the finish line. I hope you stick with me to the finale. I didn't know this until today but it seems that this Manga must have been adapted from a self published work that was never translated out of Japan. If this is the case I assume it already has an ending and as the author has suggested it is coming soon once the final volume releases in English. |
