| Her hair is pretty much the same colour as Senpai’s in the manga, but obviously when it’s all in black and white it’s hard to guess what colour things should be. Gamou’s hair is much lighter/orange in the anime compared to how I imagined it from the manga. The question I have is whether Nanashi put Orihara in there as a bit of mild foreshadowing or if he just decided to do reuse that character when he came up with the judo arc. She is drawn with eyes so she wasn’t just an NPC like most characters, so maybe it was all planned? |
She didn't appear in color in the manga. |

Those with a shade of grey are brown (Senpai) or orange (Gamo) while white can be assumed to be blonde (Yoshi and Sakura). Ochaco also has light tone despite having (rather darker) brown hair. That's how Horikoshi and Nanashi decided. |
