| Akari is so much better it's not even funny, Shiori is about as blank a slate as a character can get and offered not one single thing of interest to the show for me, neither entertainment-wise nor in terms of chemistry with Jirou. Akari on the other hand is absolutely brimming with personality and care, her interactions with Jirou are clearly genuine and god is it just so fun to watch, can't think of a single dull moment they had throughout the show's entirety vs. basically every single Shiori scene being a total drag. |

| I personally like Akari more by far, however I think Shiori would be a more faithful and long term partner for Jiro. She has loved him for a long time without wavering and tries very hard in her own way. Akari is a fantastic character, but she doesn't seem true to her way and might just have a crush on Jiro that won't last. At the start she wasn't very likable and was stuck on Minami until the very end. |
| It's fun to watch Akari, but if i had to choose for myself a wife i would definitely go with Shiori. Gals self-centered and pursue money while Shiori maybe isn't fun to watch but is is a loyal and modest girl, you can be sure in her and happy long life without surprises. |

| Gotta go with the hot gyaru. Shiori's not bad, but her one huge blunder was friend zoning Jiro years ago. Can't make up for that now. |

| There are definitely some Shiori fans out there, and in any other series Shiori could have been a contender for best girl, but up against Akari she's got no chance. |

| Akari is for boys, Shiori is for men, not that it matters since which was honestly pretty annoying, like it would've made the show and ending much better in my eyes, so sadly couldn't give it more than a 7 :( |

| The results of this poll surprise me. Shiori has more favorites on MAL, but Akari wins by a landslide in this poll. I don't really get how that came to be. My vote goes to Akari, she's great. |
| He wants the threesome. Lol in all seriousness, I really like them both, but I hope it’s Akari. It took me until the last episode to really get on team Akari because it just seems like he has more fun with her. I ship Shiori and Mei. |
