| I sincerely hope this isn't going to be another anime where an extremely buff guy (from how he is described in the LNs) gets turned into a skinny dude with a woman's voice. I've been burned once already by Faraway Paladin and don't want to experience it again. Edit: Oh dear... Just watched the PV. I haven't read the manga, only the LNs, and I guess they have based the anime ascetics off of that. The character designs are very immature in comparison to the descriptions given in the LNs. Brod is described as a grizzled veteran adventurer, with a slovenly appearance, not whatever they are going for in this. The beastmen are all bland. Frankly, I am not feeling this at all. I'll give it 3 episodes to win me over as I did with Faraway Paladin, but I have basement level expectations. |
