| I would rate first 4 episodes as much better than My Next Life as a Villainess. Unfortunately for me the rest of episodes (of I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss) are boring. |

| Well, I'm watching this one, and reading the LN, and I'm not touching the other one at all, so... |

| I prefer My Next Life as a Villainess (Hamefura), but I'd say they are quite diffrent from each other. Hamefura is mostly comedy, with a dense Mc and her bi-harem, slow, good character development and tons of chaotic "just for fun" plots. I think it is executed quite well and succeeds in being good comedy. Most serious scenes are also either funny or shine with strong character development. This one is has a smart mc who participates in various very (mostly too) fast paced adventures. And while Aileen is very well written and also brings some comedy to the show, most other characters are really shallow. It also features serious romance instead of harem. The pacing, the lack of depth in both the story and every chraracter, except Aileen and Isaac, is what I dislike about this show. I'd still rate between 6-7 stars as of Episode 9, because Aileen is a great character and the first part of Arc 1 & 2 each were good. |

| Story-wise both are lacking a good story but Akuyaku is more interesting because the Fl likes to take action and acts like a detective, and she keeps finding opportunities to crossdress as a man which I found entertaining at first. The main issue is that she isn’t fooling anyone with her disguise. Characters-wise My Next Life as a Villainess have more lovable cast. Overall, I prefer My Next Life as a Villainess but Akuyaku isn’t too bad. I recommend reading the manga over the anime because the adaptation made it worse but you can do both with since the manga doesn’t cover the whole anime. the rest of the story is from the LN witch I didn’t like very much. |
| My Next life as a Villainess is better than this anime simple because, Taming the final boss feels rush and lack of any character development aside from the mains character. |
| I mean Hamefura kinda turned into a sterotypical otome game story after they grew up, so almost any other villainess story that moves the plot along would be more interesting tbh. |
