| The POV changing from Satake to Shimoda, and the Professor searching for the mysterious client hired to kill Satake, it could be one person or an organization altogether that requires his expertise. Satake thought that he could save Maria and Kevin, but it turned out to be a futile attempt, under the watchful eye of the mafia that's lead by Kenzo Majeed to execute them. Of course, being a traitor in the mafia would be grave consequences, so it's either in or out. Satake getting ratted by Kevin about Chie being a lookalike from Maria, but survival is not guaranteed. Andre and Miguel are the least likely people to save Satake while the same convenience store owner ratted them out to the police, who lost their trail yet again. It's commendable for the trio to survive without food or water for 3 days, but to be drugged with opium that renders all rationality lost, they're really in a spot, including Satake. It just so happens that the youngsters' infighting saved them in the nick of time, and both Kevin and Maria would be better off with the next life while Satake and the youngsters escape unscathed. Why Kenzo would target Satake, and even weirder plots to come...??? |
