Shipping is overall cringe. There should be just characters you want to be happy and those you don't.

Anyway, are we allowed to bitch about the severe drop of quality compared to the first season?
I was fully prepared for this, yet was still disappointed.

I don't get the shopping part, but im very happy with the Maou X Chiho Ending and I saw nothing with Emi.

Not me, because unless it Attack on Titan or Chainsaw Chain, sense i saw or spoiled myself to the MAX with there endings, I don't set myself up for disappointment and is usually very satisfied or take that I can get..

It ain't even about the animation style being different, atleast for me. There is a painfully clear drop in quality across the board (not including animation style), it's not as bad as going from 7 Deadly Sins season 2 > 3, but this season was incredibly lackluster and honestly pretty boring compared to season 1.

Everyone is allowed to express their opinion, negative opinions are just as valid as positive ones; if no one criticized anything, no one would strive to improve. Criticism is a good thing, believe it or not. You're also always going to have shipping wars, and there are far more insufferable communities when it comes to that.

It gives the fans a rooting interest and allows the author to string them along for however many chapters/volumes, then he shits all over all the fanbases bar the winner's. All the loser(s)' fans get mad, but by that point, the author has already got your money, and he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Wow I'm quite impressed that this is getting a 3rd season... I couldn't care less about ships as long as whatever they decide is done well, but the "being done well" part is what I care about.

Fans have the right to complain about the anime, especially when majority of the community is on the same side about the quality spike, it's only natural. This thread is like telling people to stop complaining and just get over inflation. Also handy advice, you shouldn't ever expect anything from the internet.
