I remember from some other interview that one of the staff wanted to make shu even more despicable, ofc he is the reason that his love interests are no good as well. Ayano can't really let go after getting dumped for no reasons explained and kisara is getting possessive cause she has no one else and that one is giving her the cold shoulder. It's fine having main characters with flaws but I agree that they exaggerated with shu especially since his actions are mostly treated as funny up till now. His character arc also comes way too late hence why I have difficulties to care about what happened in ep9. |

| This anime has what I call tasteful fan-service. But fair enough, the MC at least is unlikable, still a good guy though. I've seen protagonists that fit the scum role much better, in my eyes he's redeemed himself. |
