| Very Bizarre. The CGI, the very normal, non-anime voice acting, it's all kind of raw and a little out of place, but I liked the atmosphere it gave off because of that. The opening was very very awesome, the ed was cool as well and I really liked the art after credits. The tetetetetetetetetete after the op and in the middle of the episode was great. And the music that played when the mc was talking with her brother was so weird I loved it. It's definitely one of the most interesting anime of the season, don't know how it'll turn out though. |

| That got weird. I like it. Wasn't expecting them to run into other people so soon in the time-stopped world. (not sure how it's even possible of the other people didn't stop at the same "time"...)  Just doing what needed to be done. |

It's not "complete and utter disorder" though, it's all very sensible. Even without watching the second episode or having any familiarity with the source material every part of this episode makes sense if you can put two and two together. 1. Seemingly ordinary family actually has a history involving magical objects and spells. 2. Some organization arranges the kidnapping of one of the family members to put the family into a desperate situation to get them to use the magical object. 3. Family gets caught in the stasis world by members of the organization, grandpa reveals another supernatural power that's been passed down which is teleportation (likely only usable in the stasis world, and sensible given the concept of space and time being strongly related). 4. Some supernatural creature which lives in the stasis world arrives due to certain circumstances. The plot is very measured, and while it certainly isn't extremely predictable in this first episode, I think that's a good thing because we don't have any context on this world yet - it's still establishing itself. To be surprised by what happens is completely sensible given this is the first episode of a supernatural mystery anime. We may not have all the answers, but we have a general idea of who the characters are as well as their basic motivations (family just wants to protect their own and live a normal life, organization wants magical power, the monster is just a monster and is inherently mysterious). |
| thats some op we got there. for a new studio we got there, i think they did good with this show overall juding from the first ep. hoping it would be decent till the end. i need this blast to fill up for what i expected on inuyashiki 5/5 |

| A quite good start. It was rather obvious, that the family was targeted for different reasons than money. And the concept of stopping time and punishment for those, who abuse this power, is really interesting. It seems, that this thing came to get them. The heroine sure has it tough. |

| Characters are likable already. The set-up for the story is interesting. Curious to see where they take it from here. The art has a nice realistic vibe to it as well, and the way they implemented the CGI worked so well that it actually complemented the shots and didn't look out of place at all. I'll definitely keep watching. :) |

| The setting seems good. I like how the characters are close to real life. Is it just me or one can get slight STEINS GATE vibes from this anime.Just a little bit. Definitely, one of the few anime worth watching this season. |

| I completely forgot this was even airing. Probably because nobody's really talking about it- it's been completely overshadowed! Easily one of the best first episodes of this season, it had me engaged pretty much straight away. We get time travel anime quite often, but this seems to have taken a new route with the bizarre monsters and the implications of spells rather than science. I just really like it and I definitely have high hopes for the series. Here's to hoping it doesn't disappoint!! +1 for funky '90s vibe OP +100 for obligatory fanservice ED |

| Characters feel and looked nice, a unique kind of family, child abduction for ransom and a grandfather (and some kind of a time-gangster) who knows a little bit about time.Kokkoku got a potential to actually become an amazing show, especially the fact that time stopping/travelling is the main plot. The Opening is freaking LIT!!! and the ending was a great colorful fanservice kind of ending. |

| This was INSANE. Best opening episode of an anime I've seen in quite a while. There are a lot of ways this show can fuck itself but so far this seems like it could be an incredible series. |

| one of several animes that i've been be waiting for in winter, since i really like time manipulation things well, time manipulation family lineage.. check lit OP (miyavi tho).. check lit ED too. check great mystery vibe ( i felt a little bit of ajin vibes ) hope to see more of this :D |
| Well that was a lot better than I expected, damn that pacing was great! Really loving the concept of this time stopping and magical power stuff. Really looking forwards to see what kind of mystic things we'll see in this stopped world! |

| Got bored. So bored. Series should've revealed more about the cool looking monsters in the time stopped world instead of focusing on what could be called H-manga tropes without being H-manga. |
| Was hooked on OP but 1st ep is kinda meeeeeh, I don't care for some yakuza gang shit. Is it the most interesting you can make out of time stop concept?... if that's the case, then I'm out. ED is lit tho. I didn't expect to see Legend himself, Umetsu Yasuomi here. |
