| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- In contrast to what I thought, this episode didn't give us much of Anzai and Tsukasa but it did give us some interesting backstory I wish they would've told in the original series. I thought the first half was a bit boring until they started the flashback but I really liked the telling on the story of Anzai's parents. I didn't expect Yuuki's father to have such an easily flattered and kind personality but I guess it does suit him as he is Yuuki's father. They had a pretty cute love story. It wasn't a bad episode but I think it would've been much better if it was part of the storyline in the original series because it adds a lot to the story in my opinion.  One day... |

| This OAD/OVA is fine as a side-story to how Anzai got his rehabilitation after the events of the TV series. Seeking his rehabilitation from being a vampire to a human, growing to support people once again. It was just OK, the same way how I felt watching the TV series also. |

| Tamaki is a gentle soul, felt bad he had to go through those experiments and past painful memories. Made me very happy he found love in Midori, although I wish there wasn't so much rush in their romance. Even though their romance blossomed at such difficult circumstances, the story didn't capitalize on that and made the OVA more expansive. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this backstory. Most of all, I am glad I revisited the series. It was one of my first series when I started out. This special was just a reminiscent. |
