| Himeno's life sound way too rough. I mean what circumstances lead her to have a life like that. She must had suffer a lot. And the poor child that have nothing to do with their story, will end alone without father or mother, and I don't expect the grandparents or the rest of the family to be any better. Anyways, Himeno even have the same desire or wish as Kusunoki, they are very similar.They both are becoming closer and closer without them knowing. Kusunoki mets with the girl of her life at last. |

| TBH I was expecting the beginning of the manga to show a down to earth way of how could someone sell their lifespan away, I mean, sound illogical... I don't think it will give me a satisfying answer to that, rather than trying to explain, the focus is more towards the consequences and not how this was possible. Aside from my resistance against the first 2 chapters, it progresses very smoothly from there, it is rather simple but well engaging so far, and while I was hearing to some sad tones while reading, to make for the mood, there were some parts that got me already. I think I can see where this is going a bit, and I will like it if it goes there, and if doesn't and surprises me further, even better. Will probably binge read the remaining chapters, but the manga has really set the mood for me so far, really good. |
