The Ending is better than I thought (spoilers)

Like I could say that no one would mind if Maou ended up with Chiho if they have the same amount of developments as Maou and Emi like how no one would mind which girl ended up with Yuiga in We Never Learn because they have the same amount of development(yes I know some have a bit more or less but it’s still enough). But no that not the case here.

If Hero and Maou are transferred to another world, where Hero's job is only to keep an eye on Maou, who is working as part timer, and the plot is like, the two are slowly getting closer, But in the end nothing happens. So why was the hero there all the time, after so many chapters, when Maou is finally had to be end up with another girl, what was the point of the MAIN GIRL (hero) this whole time.

That's all I can guess the reason for the hatred, but I could be wrong too.

That reason don’t make that much sense to me because Emi come to this world to kill Maou, not keep an eye on him.

I haven't read the LN but I've been spoiled about the Ending. Okay so from what I've been hearing people were saying the ending was so bad that they don't even wanna watch season 2. After season 2 was announced Literally on every post I saw LN readers commenting not to watch this because of the Ending. But when I found out that the whole reason is [spoiler] because Sadao ended up with Chiho it was hilarious. Like doesn't that make sense? She was the girl who was in love with him in the first season.[spoiler] I can't believe so many people were mad at this and tried to stop other people from watching it.

No?? Was it that hard even though you knew how the story would go?

Do you guys dissolve logic in WATER or the MILK before you gulp it down, digest it, and finally flush it?

Because with that logic of yours, many good Anime, Manga & LN would have been ended a lot earlier because some girl was already in love with MC from before.

Because I also hate the LN ending. And I know pretty well that Chiho did not have that much devlopment as much as Emi did. And even if she did not had that much development, there could've been a better way to reach the conclusion it had in the LN.

But these people? The best they could do is say - "That she was always in love!"

That to which I responded that if we had gone by that logic, many great Anime would have ended early...
