| Completely agree, it's super overrated no question. of course saying that will get you flamed unnecessarily. I don't get it either. im sure people will get triggered just reading that but it's my honest opinion. and everyone seems to love Reagan , one of the worst characters in the series. It's annoying how Mob literally is this degens gravy train and all he does is exploit him and milk every possible cent out of him for himself. he doesn't even pay Mob and just takes the profit and all the credit for himself pretending like he did all the heavy lifting. He isn't even funny to compensat for being such a lame leech of a character. |

The character development from Denji, Aki and Power especially is so interesting to watch play out. Seeing how Denii is when he’s found by Makima compared to how he ends up to so well done and just makes me love his character even more. Fujimotos art is ‘also amazing creating some beautiful panels which help to engage the reader with the incredible story. It’s also interesting to see a Shounen jump title tackle more adult themes and showing teens that the things they care about know really don’t matter in the grander scheme of everything. Denji is the typical teenage boy who only cares about tits and sex but he realises they’re not that important on their own and there’s other things that matter on top of that. You said you read past volume six so you’ve seen the stuff with Reze and seen how it’s affected Denji which I think is an important lesson to teach the younger generation. If you don’t agree that it’s a masterpiece that’s fine, it’s the same as Mob to me but you said you’re enjoying it now and I’m gonna say it only gets better Ok, I find it entertaining mainly because of the fights, definitely not the characters. Denji was growing on me, Aki and Power are ok, but what Denji did at the end of volume 6 pissed me off. “Adult shounen” or not, his stupid decision was too much for me after the events that preceded. I know I’m not in the minority with that take, and if that contributes to your standard of masterpiece then so be it. Maybe it’ll improve as I read it more, but that’s my opinion as of now. Imo Mob is more of a masterpiece than CSM, and Reigen is much better than any character in CSM. I do agree that the art is solid tho. |

As for why I think Mob is amazing, a couple reasons are that it has amazing animation and great characters. chainsaw man is underrated just try rereading it with different expectations/pov on the story and you'll get different stuff you didn't notice before you can read it as a shounen and youll get exactly that you can read it as a melodrama and it's gonna feel like a fkin melodrama idk how there are people that don't find chainsaw man to be top tier lol. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone but I just don't see any flaws in it other than the underdevelopment of a small number of characters that are semi-important to the story I'm really biased cuz csm is my favourite manga and I've read it like 10+ times but trust me man it's good and you'll get different aspects of the story based on how you look at it. also reading some of fujimoto's other works might help you understand more about how the story is meant to be like because it's all really bizarre stuff CSM and underrated? Really? Not trying to hate on your take of how great CSM is because you’re entitled to your opinion, but objectively speaking CSM is not under hyped in any way. |

Nah it's underrated Oh my bad, I thought you said underhyped. Underrated is an opinion, so if you believe that to be the case then although I disagree I understand, considering how much you love it. Also what does this have to do with chainsaw man I was just comparing your love for CSM with my love with those 2 series. As for why I brought CSM to this thread, I was just replying to OP that I kind of feel the same way with CSM as they do with Mob. |

Ehh imo both chainsaw man and mob are at least a 9-10 so I can't understand that point of view. Just finish all of chainsaw man and tell me your full opinions later so I can keep talking about how great chainsaw man is Ok, I guess I understand. I doubt my opinion will change enough so that it becomes a masterpiece in my opinion, especially given that I’m done more than half of the manga, but I guess I’ll never know until I finish it. |
 Crazy how people will watch almost 24 episodes of something and then decide to make a forum post titled what am I missing? Nothing anyone will tell you will change your mind about the show and that's fine. It is one of my favorite series ever. Watching an anime based on ratings on MAL is a guaranteed trip to crazy town. For example, I thought Clannad AS was garbage but it is one of the highest-rated shows on MAL. |
