Poor Anne. She just can't seem to be able to stay healthy.

This episode once pits Richard into a difficult situation with choices. Man, he just can't catch a break. Looks like Richard is making his final preparations for the upcoming battle.

I'm kinda excited to see the how they plan to wrap up this anime tbh.

Richard has given his ultimatum: to expose every rebel and treat them by the law of treason, so that no one will ever fight for the throne, to be the King of England.

To Anne and young Prince Edward, both of them and Richard seem like a family that's doomed from the start, and for the wife to have tuberculosis, the family will fall apart because of his connection to Richard. As for Richard, the people he loved is now lost, and Catesby is his living support till the end.

The Earl of Richmond Henry Tudor being the Joker to concoct the final swan song to dethrone Richard's position as a sign of rebellion, while Anne running away with Edward to safeguard his future and save her humanity from supposed insanity, Richard fought hard, but he could only let go of Edward to the Witch Joan Shore to escape his wretchedness and fake his death, while letting go of Anne to her illness.

The fateful battle: King Richard III vs. the Earl of Richard, and even until the end, the demonic influence by his mother Cecily to despite him all of her life, it's a calling that has signed him away to death, to put him to rest, the "curse" that laid upon his life for the entirety of the series.

Anticipating the finale now, but for how the entire manga is adapted and bludgeoned to death, I think I have my verdict already.

Great episode! Seems that Anne wants Richard to disinherit Edward as she doesn't want him to live this life. She had tuberculosis when she was younger but recovered from it but this time she feels that she won't.
Anne tries to flee with Edward but Richard stops her though she seems to sick to go anywhere anyway.
Richard orders Catesby to spread the rumour that Edward has died...
He also asks Jane to take care of Edward.
That letter from Anne...
She told him also that his father...wasn't really his! She tells him that she cheated on him!
I really do hate Richard's mother! What a horrible person!
It was really sad to see Richard cry.
Who will win this war?

Looking forward to the next episode!

Rip Anne, dying from Tuberculosis. And Richard might've gotten infected with it now. Getting hit with another truth before heading off to fight. Knowing that he's not his father's (King) son.

Anne died in his hands, and he sent off his son to save him from the cruel throne, just after he killed his second lover he then found out he was not his beloved father's child, I don't think any anime will ever come close with tragedies to this one, it feels so nice to have an adult themed anime without it turning into a hentai for once, too bad it feels like a summary sometimes, I will probably read the manga after next week.

You know, with the poor quality the anime has, I'll never expected to get this invested in the story. This episode hit hard. With all the shit Richard has had to deal with I fear they will kill Catesby in the last episode to put a final nail on the coffin.

Poor Richard, he can't find any happiness without someone else trying to take it from him... a lot of his loved ones are gone it's just so sad TT^TT and the ways he feels no one loves him just breaks my heart! He was always always loved! Anne, Henry, Edward, Buckingham, even Catesby, Beth and more loved and love him in their own way! hope someday he could love himself and find happiness </3

Our little Edward, hope he will be okay and would live a peaceful life.

And our splendid boy Catesby... he cares so much for Richard and always so selflesly had his back, so glad he brought Richard back to his senses

This was such a good episode.

I actually felt bad for Anne. God, she was so lonely.

Richard lost everything and everyone, little by little. It was so painful.

Edward is going to be taken care of by Jane. That was unexpected. It was oddly beautiful how Richard gives his son to her.

Finally, I understand why the mother calls him "Akuma no ko". It felt weird that she'd be that violent just because her son is intersex, but it seems he was a reminder of her own guilt and shame. Can't believe they made me feel so bad for this woman I hate so much. I still hate her, but damn.

Both Richard and Edward are adopted children. I love seeing adopted children being shown love.

Richard must feel so hopeless right now. He is even willing to die.

It was infuriating seeing the Propaganda Play juxtaposed with Richard's despair. They really heightened the tragedy.

Richmond, isn't there an arrow somewhere that you can jump in front of? You're so full of shit, I am surprised you don't come with a Flush handle!

Compassion and forgiveness given to those who have injured him, especially by a person who has so few instances of love himself is always a theme that can be made to hit hard.

I can't be the only one who absolutely loves this despite it rushing the manga? Cause jeez, this and the last few episodes were phenomenal.

I was really hoping for Richard to finally love Anne, I'm deeply disheartened by the fact. Things are really falling apart for Richard as always.

The confrontation with his mother was long overdue, truly heartbreaking stuff there

everything is falling apart and Richard is now free from his thorns not afraight of what is coming now or if he will die - finally making place for the last fight. Richard has nothing more to lose.
it broke my heart when he had to let go of his beloved son...

The story is so good and I can't wait for the last episode to air but the directing in the anime is..meh.. I don't say I hate it but the manga is more clear and I understood things better when I read the manga (until vol 9).

Being a royal family during those era are really hard, they will face a lots of problem...
Oh, no wonder Richard got black hair.... that's not his real father...
Well, that's great, he kiss someone else beheaded head lip during early episodes.

Knowing Cecily pain, guess she is really stress with it... Mature Richard finally understand his mother....

Poor Anne.... She wanted to be love.... but she died without knowing her husband is actually not fully male.

Another sad episode. Pain.

Richard isn't the biological son of the King :( Once again I am disappointed in the anime censoring things so the plot is more confusing. Anyway, now it makes sense why the mother hated him so much. Now I just feel pity for her.

Edward was sent away. Anne is dead. Richard has no one (except Catesby), at least he has conquered his insecurity implanted by the mother.

poor Anne 💔 her story was quite sad. it's also sad that she requested Richard to disinherit baby Edward, he was portrayed as such a nice boy. it's sad that Edward had killed his father and adopted him, and now he is to be cared for by Jane?? lmao wasn't she like a witch? Wouldn't she just sell him back to the Lancaster family or something??

wow, what a sad ending to this episode too. seeing his mother again, and her telling Richard the truth about his father.. though we were only shown her on her back with a black demonic shadow above her lol who truly is his father? to cheat on your husband, the king, and then even when the king raises him as his own, you still feel cursed and like this child is a curse? seriously pathetic. Richard is the embodiment of a character who grew up with childhood trauma, treated like a demon his entire life, only wishing for his mother to care for him.

I liked that he asked his mother to pray for Richmond to win, and for Richard to die in this battle. sad as hell

also where is Henry the merc
