| Finally the bi...witch told Satoko the truth about Rika. Damn, Satoko could be a more formidable opponent than Takano. She won't hesitate to crush Rika's heart just for them to be together forever. She is slowly becoming a yandere. I know, Satoko does all of that only because she wants to be with Rika. It's all just too miserable. I just hope they will make up soon, understand each other, and find a middle ground they can decide together. |

| What I find the most interesting bit here is that Satoko sat through all 100+ years of memories of Rika going through the pain and suffering she had to endure AND STILL decides to keep looping because of her stupid reason. I thought for sure she'd come to understand her reasoning of wanting to leave Hinamizawa but nope, still butthurt over the fact she's not the perfect friend she desired after a while. |

Makes sense, Satoko. You go and willing and gleefuly destroy your friend's mind and will, all because of a teenage made up "drama". At this point I'm just rushing to finish the show. It really turned in a huge waste of time and, mirroring what others have said like ssjokg and Gar_Logan, this stopped being about the message of friendship trumping "fate"from previous seasons to just being...Don't even know what to call this. |

I kinda saw how this was going last episode, but I was holding out for the hope that maybe the key to making satoko understand and get away from her unhealthy obsessiveness would be knowing rika's 100 years of pain, but you're telling me she sat through every tragedy, every single one of them, and she... didn't feel anything at all?? her goal and way of thinking is unchanged?? how selfish can she be? is satoko just that dumb or something? rika matured more than she should have as an 11 (?) year old going through all that suffering, and yet satoko's still an honest to goodness brat. maybe the reason why the execution in the previous arcs is so bad is because its a reflection of how the "director" satoko perceives past timelines, she just went "blood hehe violence hehe" in them and didn't take away a single positive lesson about love, friendship, hope, and belief in a bright future in those hundred worlds. it makes me wonder how much satoko experienced (does she even feel anyone's emotions? or was it all just like a montage, or a movie of sorts to her that she's this unaffected and unsympathetic to it all?) satoko just watched as if all that happened didn't concern her in any way. did she not even stop to think for a second that if not for rika's sacrifice then she wouldn't even have the luxury to have her separating issues in this comfortable world of hers right now? she really doesn't realize how blessed she is at the moment even after seeing how painstakingly it was fought for? and then she actually wants rika to go through even more pain? suffering more for her sake? that's like the most ungrateful shit ever holy crap. a horrible irony. seriously wondering how they can redeem satoko after this because at the moment I'm borderline hating her guts. I sure hope nobody brings up "satoko knows what rika went through too!" as an excuse for any reason because no. just no. you can never compare what they went through. I'm not buying that they went through the same thing, or that satoko fully understood what she saw. I refuse to believe that this satoko is the same satoko that rika saved in matsuribayashi, or the satoko rika continuously saved and tried so hard to protect who is now willing to torture her. because that's definitely what a best friend should do to convince you to stay by her side! |

| Man, those last episodes have been quite good. I feel like they should have shortened this to 12 episodes and remove the first half of the season, then I could rate this much higher. |
| Thanks for this sequel, I hate it! No seriously Satoko is UNFORGIVABLE already by this point. Anyone defending her must be a big piece of s*** IRL I swear. Rika is also bad because they needed to put her down too, but she's still way above Satoko BS. Even before Satoko suicide them both the first time she said she asked Satako to help hze study with her but Satoko was like "I don't want to". Also there's a difference between : "Killing herself willingly when nothing went wrong to start another loop like a video game checkpoint and having not a fuck given about killing and making your friends suffer." and "Killing yourself when all hope is gone and your friends are dead to try to save them the next time." This is the best character assassination I've ever seen! Satoko was already the most unliked character because of those timelines where she bullied Rika and was a crybaby clinging to her brother making his life hell when they were both abused, but they managed to make her even more hated, really, NICE JOB! It's not because she was abused when she was a kid, her parents died and her brother "left her" that she has a free sociopath pass. Rika suffered way more than her in her hundred years of loop. Every character had a shitty life in this damned city anyway (well maybe not Keiichi before he moved in lol) |
