Tatsuru the Badaryman disbands the doubles team with Mikoto, not just because of the Osaka business trip, but also for his torn ligament during the Unisics match. Furthermore, the relationship between Tatsuru and former SunBev employee Naohiro Izumo (who's now in Mitsuhoshi Bank), they used to be one and the same until goals set them apart.

A Hakama-dressed Sentaro Ibuki is lost in Tokyo, coincidentally finds Mikoto and challenges him to a 1-on-1 match using the Mitsuhoshi court...and this casual game is anything but casual, as a litmus test for Mikoto to go back playing singles, which he couldn't do. Not even his foresight can help him in this way, and Mikoto has lost all focus.

A diary made up of Mikoto's past, re-engaged his touch to Tatsuru, that's even more so with their backstory of the fairly newbie Tatsuru teaching young Mikoto. And when he was booted out of Mitsuhoshi, there was his chance to take him into SunBev with Tatsuru's assurance. And they reconciled with their past into the present, which felt too easy of a resolution.

There's nothing left but practice, practice, and more practice for badminton, and finishing up sales. And soon enough, the S/J League has arrived for the 4 central teams to complete against one another. The problem lies with the internal coup on dealing with Tatsuru...

Kinda of a throwaway episode due to the unkempt episodic drama. But at least is a stopgap for the final stretch, which is the corporate badminton tournament.

Dramatic episode. That diary scene was really touching.

I'm glad Mikoto and Tatsuri made up.

This episode reminds me why I like sports anime, it makes a situation for two (or more) guys to be as close as possible. And unlike fighting genre which also create that situation, no one has to die from fighting.

Mikoto is worrying so much if Tatsuru has a girlfriend or not. Yes, I know that it's more of Mikoto doesn't believe a guy like Tatsuru can get a girlfriend than Mikoto wanting to own Tatsuru to himself, but still, I'm satisfied with this situation.

Mikoto want Tatsuru to take a responsibility for making him like this. My mind is going crazy by that statement. Sunlight has a pair of lovers and a pair of brothers in badminton team and the executive director want to destroy the them? I wish I had a company so that I can recruit them.

I could go on and on but let's stop and move to other topic. The guy who beat Mikoto in single in this episode is a world champion. So maybe it's not that Mikoto is too comfortable with playing double that he forget how to play single, maybe it's that the world champion guy is too strong. But big thanks to that guy for pointing out what Mikoto's heart want! (oh no I'm back to this topic again LOL)

One of the interesting part is that the knowledge in parasports also help people in conventional sports. For the long time I think that it's a one way communication, conventional sports create knowledge, in which parasports learn about it and adapt it in a new way. In this episode, it's the opposite. People in conventional sports like Mikoto and Tatsuru gain something by learning from parasports coach. The world never appreciate parasports big enough, so I think this episode is a good step in a right direction.

I love drama created by the characters' actions! So, I am excited to see what's about to happen.

I'm glad to know that Miyazumi had brought Mikoto to the company. Otherwise, it would have been too much of a coincidence to the point that we'd see the author's hand.

This episode showed a disabled player! I like that this anime tried to show different types of players.

Izumo seems nice.

The badminton matches were skipped, which I am grateful for. They won't progress the plot, so we don't need to see them, unless something important happens during it.

I have a very hard time remembering the characters, and I can't remember who the older guy in glasses was. He seems strict, but nice.

This episode was more on the dramatic side than what we've seen so far, but I think the show handled it pretty well. We got to see more insight into the past of Tatsuru and how he came to play with a young Mikoto when he own form back then was in the gutter.

Along with Mikoto re-discovering his diaries back at his family home, it led to a nice scene between the two doubles teammates and how they re-affirm each other in doing their best to play to their best strengths while covering for each of their weaknesses.

The hard work starts now, though. Not only are their whole team is in the semi-finals of the SJ league (which led to a funny scene with a stuttering Tatsuru being interviewed live! XD), but also their profits-obsessed director is making his move to dispose of Tatsuru's career at the company, going by the file at the end pf the episode.

Two tough battles indeed, so I hope that our team can win the SJ league and stop the director from doing something so dumb. Fingers crossed...

At last, the duo it’s back together. Luckily, Mikoto found a way to work things out with Tatsuru’s injury.

And the director guy needs to start minding his own business

Quite the turning point this episode with the reveal of Tatsuru's reason for splitting his duo

Mikoto sure has learnt he can't be without his doubles partner. When he realised he knew Tatsuru from before was super soft

The duo being back in action is great~ Let's hope they manage to win the S/J League and stop the SunBev CEO (?) from being on their case

Ah we finally get to see the whole backstory of Shiratori and Miyazumi, been wondering about that since some post-credits in previous eps showed them interacting.

So nice to know that Tatsuru somehow inspires the young Mikoto to take up badminton. Now its Mikoto's turn to inspire Tatsuru to embrace badminton again.

Mikoto got all calm and matured after that talk of dissolution. In Tatsuru's desk, he found a medical form of Tatsuru, mentioning his ailment.

Yeah well, saw that coming. It was just a matter of time before Mikoto recognized Tatsuru. Damn, Tatsuru knew it from the very beginning. If only they were opposite genders, they could be considered as fated couple ๐Ÿ˜….

Finally, with all sorted, they trained in a new playstyle. S/J League Tournament is here, and they skipped straight to the semifinals. SunBev is in top 4 in the tournament.
