Man, this show feels like it gets more and more violent each week. Amou was going through some serious psychological stress even in this episode.

Kind of a slow episode but I really hope Amou can get his shit together.

The generic male MC reason becoming edgy because he saw people get hurt or killed around him.

Though he has his reasons not telling others and causing them to worry about you is also a bad call on Amou's part. GAI version Momotaro was quite the tale. The time at the facility sounded like it was a great time for Amou to take a step back. The attack on the facility though was less of a raid but more of a purge. The situation that Amou went through sure was rough. In the present between Alexi's promotion and the commute of the East Asian alliance troops that Amou encountered looks like a major op is going to happen. Brad resorting to blackmail was quite the surprise. I pegged him as one that fought fairly. Still this ep did create a pretty interesting scenario for Brad if he did find out the identity and plans of his superiors. Overall while the main focus was on showcasing what happened to Amou when he vanished this ep also did well to set things up for whats looking like a major battle between the three blocs in the coming episodes.

So we FINALLY get to learn what’s eating at amou. Was really hard to watch he and the squad the past few weeks. Killing someone is a very traumatic experience for any sane person and that whole situation is totally normal to have PTSD from. I like the way they handled that in the anime.

Hopefully his friends will be able to be the support he needs to put it in the past and move on.

Also, Sawano and Natsumi snapped on that ED, listen to it an unhealthy amount daily lol.

Amou's 8-month disappearance can be best summed up to: "We know who's the head honcho behind the scenes, so we must act fast and retreat for now before we can have our revenge".

Amou's side of the backstory clears up whatever Misuzu had not leaned in Yatagarasu for plot reasons, taking care of children whom their parents had been taken hostage, and that the German Gobert had been the one pulling the strings within Brenson Corp.

The secret AMAIM training under Amou and Dialo of A.R.E.S helps somewhat, but it didn't take long for the secret facility TRYVECTA to be found out by the North American military, even to the point of using a copy of Ghost to infiltrate inner security. Amou's PTSD of killing people was already injected early on since Part 1, but it only took until now for that to take into full effect to silence and close his heart in respite. Must've been one hell of a cold call.

With orders from every side of the military: Oceania, Eurasian, Asian and North American, everyone is making preparations for the next "party". It's time for the next conflict.

Great episode! Wow, after Amou told the story of what happened, I can understand why he has been so depressed...
Hopefully, he can get back to his old self with time!

Looking forward to the next episode!

So now we finally know the cause of Amou's PTSD. Tbh I thought those kids were going to die. Those masked dudes were ruthless.

Finally, Amou has followed in the footsteps of prior Sunrise mecha protagonists and has had his freakout moment. Now we need to wait for the part where he becomes an enlightened philosopher warrior preaching while killing people.
