Did Cloverworks did their thing while adapting this show? The thing they did with Horimiya and TPN s02

I assume the “that” you’re referring to is rushing through the source material? If so then no. They were very accurate and faithful to the manga. They just changed minor details here and there

nope they adapted the first 38 chapter and the manga has around 70 out so we probably will still have to wait for more content from the manga before we get a season two but it wasn't rushed or skipped things like in Horimiya and promise Neverland season 2

I’m assuming you mean actually depicted or referenced explicitly sex or something more than handholding since bit of a rarity. It makes references far more normal to a teenage experience in American context, but nah, no actual, uh, action between primary cast. Which is fine as not in a rush and Gojo’s discomfort around women / human “immodesty” in general (though that is more explored).

I'm still mad about Horimiya. mfs really screwed it up. I can't forgive them at all after that. no matter how many good anime adaptations they do

How the fuck they screw up when the Anime was a massive success lol? They were given a certain number of episodes to cover the entire story, blame the production committee for not giving them more episodes.

The difference is Horimiya was ending for long time before anime aired. Bisque doll is still ongoing.
