| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It looks like this is where academy life really begins with classes in session. Their academy has an elegant feel that gives off an elite socalism feeling. Other characters such as Hijiri and Sawa are also starting to catch more attention with their roles at school. Everyone seems to eager to prove themselves. Decent buildup episode. I think the pacing is fine so far and given enough time, they'll probably get to more serious business in later episodes. |

| The potential Kouka Revue girls are hyped for their entrance...except the enthusiastic Sarasa Watanabe who is just lazing right on her very first day. The atmosphere is still very military-like, but it's clear that there is a high standard to uphold. 2nd Year Vice President Hijiri Nojima advises the former idol Ai Narata, while Risa Nakayama takes care of Sarasa in the most eloquent of manners while being picky against her, and quickly gives in for support. Musume-yaku in the Takarazuka Revue stands out more than any other roles in the Troupe, and it's a one-way street of a career. The 1st years have reasons for their applications into Kouka in terms of dreams and aspirations or familial relations, and it's a good diversity...except that everyone knows about Sarasa and Ai. This is just the beginning for the 1st Years, and they do have a lot to learn about the Kouka Troupe. At least for Sarasa, the world expands in her memories, but only the top can cross the Red Carpet version of Kouka, the Silver Bridge. The chance is open, so earn your right to be on stage! |

| Sarase has a deep sleep that’s for sure. That’s a nice build up episode and we see more from Hijiri.Everyone want to the top they all have some goals to archive. I really like it so far. |

| The first episode wasn’t a fluke, this looks like it will be a good anime. It is trope-y, but it does the tropes well. I like the characters and the art style is somewhat unique compared to most current anime. This might be the big cult hit of the season. |
| Idk why, but it makes me laugh sometimes of how Watanabe in some shots looks like she towers over everyone lol. While in other shots, she seems only a few inches taller. As for the episode itself, I did enjoy it. It's hard not to root for Watanabe. |
| Finally able to finish the ep up after getting funimation to work -__- Anyway, I love Sarasa so much already. Not only is she adorable, but underneath that gumpy exterior is so much determination. She can definitely become Oscar. Narata is a really interesting character too. Picked up the first volume of the manga yesterday, looking forward to reading it. This series has a lot of potential. Nice that we’re getting so much shojo lately. |

| Im impressed with Sarasa and how she tamed her sheep-like bed hair in less than 25 minutes. And I still dont like Ai. But I like Risa. Another thing that was interesting is how they dont mind losing a year or 2 to get in. And their families accept. |

| We dived right into the lives of first year Kouka girls. Each of them are assigned a senpai. Sarasa's senpai seems like a nice person. Thou Ai's senpai is a twisted one it seems. But I'm sure they'll bond at some point. Also it was fun watching the backstage of Kouka, specially with Sarasa's reactions. The last scene with Sarasa on stage was quite dazzling, I hope her dream comes true someday. Another beautiful episode. Sarasa was adorable again. |

| Interesting to see the wide range of age groups and yet they are still in classes based on entry. I like that. Very interesting second episode and the ending song was very well done. |

| Could immediately tell something was off about Hijiri. She seemed sly and kind of had some mean spirited undertones her entire interaction with Ai. It seemed like a facade, as it was later confirmed by Risa.  Is it really shocking that they casted KanaHana to voice the two faced bitch? Lol, I think not. She reminds me of some of the two faced characters in Onii-sama e.  There was a brief flashback from Sarasa's childhood that mentioned Sukeroku, a kabuki play. Kabuki is generally only performed by males. Thus Sarasa would not be able to part take in them. As a kid she might get a pass, but the older she'd get the more apparent her feminine aspects would become. |
| Yay!!! Hanakana got a lot of screen time, nice. The last scene where she stood up on the stage was very good. Hearing Koyasu was great too. |

| Another great episode, all the characters are so refreshing to watch, and I really like Sarasa now. I don't really dislike any of the characters yet, not even Hijiri although she seems like the bitch character. Also is that a stalker chasing Ai at the end? I hope he gets his ass kicked if he is a stalker. |

| This is really starting to grow on me. Great episode, with good character introductions and also a good introductions to different aspects of Takarazuka. Senbongi's voice really fits Sarasa's character and her along with Hanamori make a great VA pair. Great ED too. |
| Ah, finally HanaKana got a bigger portion this time with her smile, lots of meaning, even though i don't even know whats the true meaning of it. But i do feel like something must be wrong in the future, or no? Second-year Watanabe's advisor looked more nicer than i thought. So, its the reason, eh? Too tall? Thats why the oped tease the act of Watanabe as male-role and Ai as a female-role? Well it must be interesting to see all through the end. Shall they show at least one act at the end of the series, or no.... Other than that, i like this episode, good interaction, decent usual plot, and good girls. Thats all i need to know.... |

| Well... Ai's stalker's character seems way more "cartoonish" than expected. Guess that side-plot won't get that serious or dark but we'll see. That aside, I absolutely loved this episode. It was truly fascinating to learn more about the logistics of Takarazuka performances as well as how the specialized schools for said type of theater work. On the other hand, Sarasa's cheerful personality continues to be quite contagious and the art for this show's ED is absolutely mesmerizing, I must say. |
| Great episode, so many faces that we seen for today's episode. This is getting more and more interesting as I didn't expect. A blend of funny and goosebumping episode, specially the OP/ ED is really great though, not mention the illustrations thou. |

| I am loving this show a lot, it's so charming. Great episode! I love Sarasa, she's so awesome. Ai "waking up" Sarasa was hilarious, their dynamic is so entertaining. Also really liking Sawa because of her flamboyant personality. Risa is kind of strict but she's nice, I like her. Hijiri is definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing though. Wonder what that stalker is gonna do, cause they're really building it up. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| i love sarasa so much she's so endearing lol since i've read what i could of the manga, the anime seems to be combining the prequel and sequel instead of following the timeline consecutively, which im not necessary disappointed by given this will probably only be a 1 cour anime, but this episode did cut out a very strong (and important, i feel) character building scene for sarasa, but who knows maybe it'll be brought up later |
| Really, Sarasa... apart from her height, there's something that makes her stand out all the time. I really like her. Other characters that also caught my attention were Sawa and Risa. Sawa is very responsible and dependable (and she's always excited when talking about otoko-yaku, looks cute lolll) while Risa is a senior who looks fierce but is actually caring. I don't hate Ai, but I don't really like her either. But compared to Ai, my dislike for her advisor is more higher than for Ai. Really good episode and nice ED. I will support Sarasa no matter what role she plays in the future (but I really wish she could be Lady Oscar). |

| This was a good one. Having the classic extravert-introvert dynamics being used multiple times this episode was something I noticed and I do like all the interactions for every character. The ending is super cool in terms of visuals and I'm actually enjoying this series. Hopefully it'll keep up |

| Each girl got a senpai and Ai is together with Hijira who also voiced Mayuri. Really love hearing here, hopefully she has a lot of screentime. And Sasari has Risa as her senpai. She does look like a mean one but seems like she's a bit more friendly. Pretty good episode, really love the atmosphere around them. And that hentai guy is coming.. |

| They kinda hinted it with students trying to enroll for multiple years, but the age disparity caught me off guard there seeing how Sarasa is 15 while her classmate Kaoru is already 18. After all those bold statements on becoming the top star and getting the spotlight at the end, Sarasa better accomplish her dream! |

| The second episode is much better than the first. We're seeing some other girls and getting to know more about their personalities and their stories. I like them more than main two. I'm really glad ma girl Sumire Uesaka is here. Everything is better when she is around. Oh, and that ED is just AWESOME! |

| Sarasa really seems more like the main character so far, Ai is pretty bland by comparison. Hopefully Ai will get some character development and become less cold of a person over the course of this season. |
