Tbh I preferred the first season. But that doesn't mean second season is bad. Maybe the second part is a bit slow paced

Imo s1 is pretty good, s2 p1 was a great sequel better than s1 and then s2 p2 is just a huge boring disappointed

I think the animation gets really cool and the sound effects in season 2 are amazing.

personally the second season part 1 is my favourite season in the whole show because of just how much progression and development the characters get.

if you liked the comedy in season 1 you'll love the comedy in season 2 and you'll enjoy the new characters.

the only downside is maybe the second season part 2, it kinda takes a break and slows down from part 1 but is still enjoyable.

I think you should continue and it gets better

Season 2 Part 1 is darkest of the whole series. Season 1 was meh dark, and first half of season 2 part 2 was boring af. Rest was fine.

First half of season 2 is great. Second half isn't bad in my opinion, but if you didn't like season one, you probably won't like the second half of season 2.

i wasnt a big fan of season 1 but i really liked season 2, part 1 of season 2 is the best ive seen from this anime and was really entertaining imo, i liked part 2 more than many people but its still pretty mid

definitely yes. The first season was like slice of life. We were introduced to many characters. We saw how they build up the City and so on. But the second season tho. Now you get everything what you want. Rage moments, dark moments, fight moments, interesting character interactions and of course revenge. Back when this anime was airing I couldn't wait for another episode. All I thought was about the next episode

It is getting better. The first season is overall worldbulding and getting to know the Charakter and the second season is getting more intense.
I am not a big fan of the first season, but because my friends told me it was getting better, I kept watching and I was not disappointed in the end. So I would recommend to keep up, it is getting better and more interesting ^^

Judging from your comment, I’m assuming you didn’t like s1 because of how slow it was. You finished it, so I’m assuming that the plot momentum barely carried you to the end.

I have good news for you: Slime gets darker and an overarching plot develops.

Bad news: it really isn’t that special. What makes Slime special is the characters messing around doing whatever, but the dark overarching plot is a copy paste.

Unless you enjoyed other dark, leveling up to god isekai, then you’ll enjoy Slime; however, if you don’t, stay away from it.
