| Read this so I don't need to deal with the CGfest. Might still watch it, but now I'm really looking forward to the Danberu adaptation instead. No regret though, great characters and one of the best MA tournament arcs, but even with Kuroki darkhorsing it got fairly formulaic. Also love the author's (artist's? don't remember) love of tan girls. |

| That was the last chapter huh... this is sad, I really like this manga :( It has a lot of interesting character, and has a great artwork, yes the artwork is not as great as berserk-vinland-vagabond, but still far above average. And I really love how this manga almost had zero plot armor. overall a great manga. 9/10 for its interesting and well written character, and Great artwork. |

| Honestly I felt this was highly overrated, a bunch of empty characters fighting, none of whom (even Ohma) really ever got the development to make me invested. Random crap happening around the tournament fights. A whole host of characters, most of whom did practically nothing. |

| This was a waste of time. Fantastic art, but that was the only good thing about this. Shit story, the characters were all pointless and had no development, a bunch of random bullshit happening all the time and it all lead to nothing. 4/10 |

| Just finished burning through the manga in about a week. I had already watched the anime but honestly forgot almost all of the plot points so I got to experience this for the first time for the second time. I absolutely loved this manga all the way through. The characters chemistry is amazing, especially the old guard and fighters. I've read a lot of fighting manga but I was still absolutely stunned at the amazing artwork and choreography. I took like 50 screenshots of just absolutely inspiring pages. For me this manga gets a 9/10. Only negative is once I get current with kengan omega I will be back in the spot I'm in with Baki, waiting for each new chapter. Good fighting manga ares diamonds in the rough. |
| Damn. Actually got a bit emotional towards the end there. I feel like the relationships and character development could’ve been a bit more fleshed out but the Chapter 235 still managed to move me more than most manga I’ve read. All in all, this was an enjoyable ride. I can’t say it lived up to the hype but it had enough going for it to be one of the better martial arts manga I’ve read. |
| Very nice epilogue that also set up for the sequel. I'm happy for Yamashita and with Ohma's death it had the right amount of bittersweetness. Overall a great martial arts manga that was a blast to read all the way. Would've went with an 8/10, but since such a nice conclusion is rare it gets a 9/10. |
