Its a comedy manga that has overarching plots that connect the entire series together but it isn't restricted by that; it'll have single chapters, or even spans of multiple chapters that are unique and have almost no actual connection to the story. It never feels old, and at the same time, there are relatable characters with common goals and aspirations that make reading to the end worthwhile. However, what could have been the perfect shonen manga was ruined by it's dog doo do ending, so if you don't like series that are good for 96% of it's run yet end badly, then you should avoid SKET DANCE, because it'll leave a bad taste in your mouth for awhile. Or, you could just stop reading before the last 10 chapters and make up your own custom ending in your head; that would work too. |

| Yeah, it's like Gintama but less repetitive, with less dumb pee-pee poo-poo jokes, and its "serious" episodes are actually good, while Gintama's ones are usually generic and overacted. |
