Wow, no thread.

Man Goro is a child sometimes, its a valid strategy. Komori knows he can hit a 3 run blast off of him. Komori should have walked him, but no Goro costs them a chance at a comeback.

Taiga, please, in this game, DONT. LET. GORO. PITCH.

Lololololol! to the part where Fuji bats 2 swings before his turn! XD He still can't hit it. I hope he can hit some, you can really see how frustrated he is. It's been a while since I LOLed at Major eps. The last time was I think when Komori threw a ball to Goro when they were having a match when Toshi was still at Tonomoura.

I don't like the sight that Komori and Yamane is walking Goro. But on the other side, it might have been a good idea, since I'd like Goro to preserve his energy and not to move his right foot recklessly.

Too bad that was an out for Goro. I gotta agree with Yamane "a speechless way of fighting the our cowardly battery". I know that Komori is just playing safe. But the fact that they just walked Goro just means they are not that confident with their pitcher. If you're really a true battery, then don't chicken out here! Fight with what you got! If you lose, then you don't deserve to fight Kaido!

This has got to be a very crucial situation for Yamane too. If he can't face Goro here who originally came from Kaido, then he will probably lose heart and be overwhelmed by the Kaido pitchers, IF they win. Which is 100% not happening.

Still, I can't help but understand Komori a little. For someone who has been working hard and has not got big wins in big games yet. It's just natural for Komori to aim a reasonable goal like Kaido. They're hungry for victory too.

He could have protested the walk by just swinging, resulting in a strike instead of getting out like that. Although that probably also rattled them a bit seeing that happen. Anyways, I really want Goro to get on the mound. Although honestly I wish his foot wasn't hurt in the first place . . . STUPID INJURIES!!!

Fujii became so useless all of a sudden, he seemed like he had potential at the beginning.

The way Mifune battery chooses to walk Yashiro and Gorou means they are not strong enough. I wonder how they plan to defeat Kaidou with lame strategies like that. It seems they barely withstand against Senshuu at this rate.

Komori is a fine strategist and batter, but just like Toshiya, he also have his own pride, which will probably fail him at some point.

Oh Goro. Only him can try to hit those intentional ball like a fool. But you can't fool the umpire.

Seishuu have been incredibly unlucky so far. When Miyazaki failed the home, that was heartbreaking :(

lol? isn't all that running and throwing he's doing, even as a 1st baseman, count towards his allotted "pitches"? you can run a marathon goro, but as soon as you start pitching that's when your leg starts failing!

As expected Mifune is leading.
Goro will have to step up again and win the game.

I'm actually glad that Goro didn't replace Taiga and instead replaced Miyazaki. Sure they still depend on his morale boosts, but I like that he's not their ace this time around. I also like how he's learning to coordinate players this season, which he never did this much in the previous seasons. He's learning to be a fine captain. It's probably some of the valuable skills he wouldn't have learned at Kaido. Toshi would probably take that spot from him there.

At least they didn't pull off some crazy "I'm Honda Goro and I can exceed 30 pitches," although it might be too soon to say that. Don't like were this season is going to with Honda playing while injured constantly, but at least they solved it decently in this game by putting him on first. I guess he will pitch the last three innings, but it would also be cool if Taiga can finish the game.

Real chicken shit move on Komori's part.. playing not to lose. He pretty much told his pitcher "I have zero confidence in you." Walking Goro was probably the worst thing Koromi could have done and should have just let him hit.

I'm fine with Goro replacing Miyazaki and I hope Taiga will stay the pitcher but I don't think that'll be the case. Also good to see Yamane didn't become an above average pitcher but just decent enough to make Komori's strategies work (except for Goro with his crazy plays).
