This episode gives a much better execution than the manga, which goes to show Studio Pierrot's sheer excellence and experience in adapting Naruto for 19 years and still counting. Kudos to the team! 👏🏻 |

Even though Naruto didn't die, Kurama's departure was still heartbreaking. Being there from the very beginning, seeing its growth and that last conversation... it really hit me just how much my opinion on it changed over the many years I've followed this anime. Now's a matter of time before Naruto will probably suffer the same demise. That one I don't know how I will cope with. In any case, Kawaki's play wasn't as dumb as I thought initially though it looks like the threat isn't over for him and Boruto. Makes sense, otherwise how would you explain the very first flash-forward. |

Even as a manga reader this episode still hit the feels. They did it so well with the ending having flashbacks to Shippuden and even OG Naruto. Pierrot did absolute wonders with the last 2 episodes. |

I thought that everyone would be badmouthing Boruto for this episode... I'm very surprise it is not the case. I will begin then. For me, this episode is a huge insult to all of Naruto's fans. They raised the hype for his death... and finaly gave up, laughing about the viewer who thought something interesting was happening. Naruto's death would have been a good ending for Kawaki's arc and his integration to Konoha. At the same time, Kurama's death fell flat. It's completely overshadowed by Naruto's survival. They were able to make me feel nothing about the death of a character I was following for more than fifteen years. Just inverting the order of these two events (first Kurama dies, then Naruto survives) would have avoid this. Finally, I see one major problem. Ok, Naruto and Sasuke are not the godlike being they were with the Rinnegan and Kyuubi's chakra (don't they still have the chakra from Asura & Indra ? as they are still their reincarnations). But Naruto is now totally immune to death ! He's even more OP now ! |

Naruto and Kurama's final moments together got me crying so bad. It was like a moment between 2 old pals who didn't like each others but in vain ended up being sort of best friends. This is really the most emotional I've been in animes for quite a while, probably doesn't help that I've been watching this since it aired, it grew on me like it did for many. Kurama will be missed 😭 |

Ugh, so depressing.. Btw, without saying anything about it specifically, two things, doesn't Naruto still have the Chakra from the other tailed Beasts inside of him? So even though he lost Kurama he should still have that right? And secondly, is Naruto still going to be fairly powerful, or did they kill Kurama off to basically neuter Naruto, and destroy Sasuke's Rinnegan and basically now they are both going to be fucking garbage? I know they want Kawaki and Boruto to shine but I seriously hate when shows do that, instead of letting the people who are the STRONGEST in the world stay strong and still be important characters, they depower them for this reason or that reason. Instead of just having them stay strong but giving other characters the wins sometimes and being able to shine. For me I'd much rather see that, and have them still be capable but just have the other characters get the major wins. But most shows that are in situations like they end up acting like they weren't the top of the heap or gutting their power levels. |

So Naruto gets to have one glorious fight with Kurama before he loses him but Sasuke loses his Rinnegan before he even fully utilizes it :| Oh, but let's not forget that they gave him 2 seconds of fame for reading Boroshiki's situation before making him completely miss the rasengan that he threw. I know he's just a supporting character now but he deserves more respect than he's being given. Can someone just attach a Hashirama arm to him so he could awaken the Rinnegan? Then give him one glorious fight before he gets killed off? 😢 |

I mean he can do a lot more than chidori and amenotejikara you know 😐 But I guess they know they'll lose viewers if Naruto dies 😅 |

Then we for the Momoshiki fight which was amazing, and the time travel arc which I ABSOLUTELY loved(and the set just came out so I'm watching in Dub because I loved Naruto in Dub). But the only reason I got this far is because of my love for all the Naruto/Shippuden characters, there's no way I would have gotten past 50 if it wasn't for that. So hopefully Naruto and Sasuke find a way to get strong still, and they don't just make them out to be trash just to make Boruto and Kawaki the only heroes(for now). Also I really wonder how much further we go until the opening scene of the Anime. Btw, as cool as it was(definitely wasn't as cool as the Naruto/Sasuke one) it has some downsides, like we knew Naruto couldn't die, because in that opening Kawaki said he killed them or something, so while doing it that way has it's perks it also has it's negatives. |

Well that was definitely an episode. I actually Isshiki to successfully implant the Karma into Kawaki since Boruto still has his and they could deal with it together but luckily the shadow clone didn't just instantly vanish which it very well could have. It is interesting how confident these Otsutuki's are that the shinobi won't just kill Kawaki and/or Boruto to get rid of them even if the entire planet is at stake. I mean even just Kawaki or Boruto on their own could commit suicide and do it. But yea Sasuke's Rinnegan is donezo and so is Kurama it looks like. Well...fuck. Boruto doesn't know how to send them back either which is such a troll job. |

Yes! I really loved the Momoshiki fight! That was a fight that did them justice. And yeah the time slip arc was awesome. I can't believe that was not manga canon. Yeah I know what you're talking about :| that opening where they hint at Naruto and Sasuke's death. I'm kinda still hoping we read that wrong 😂 I guess the good side is it gets the fans to talk and theorize. I'm thinking it might be a long was off. Like there might be a time skip like what they did with Shippuuden because Boruto and Kawaki both looked older there. Unrelated thought....will Mitsuki age too? HAHA |

Nah bro Boruto ep legit got me in tears wtf. When I read the chapter it was sad but didn’t get me like this. That little flashback with all of naruto and Kurama history… 😢 Masterpiece of an ep, masterpiece of an arc. Please give Boruto the respect it deserves. Kawaki pulled out some stuff I never expect. He can use Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu AND the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Who taught him the Fireball Jutsu? That jutsu is exclusive to the Uchiha clan so the only two who would know it are Sasuke and Sarada. And obviously Naruto taught Kawaki the Shadow Clone Jutsu. That's what you get Isshiki. You assumed that Kawaki was a mere vessel but he is slowly and steadily developing into a true shinobi. He completely finessed you and now you're dead. Now out of nowhere Momoshiki manifests in Boruto again and takes out Sasuke's Rinnegan. My god I did not see that coming, and Sasuke obviously didn't either. Momoshiki starts clapping Kawaki and Sasuke's cheeks and uses Boruto's techniques to do so. Speaking of, he used the Vanishing Rasengan. That move is a classic. It might not be as strong as a regular Rasengan, but the fact that it disappears and reappears makes it so difficult to defend against. We also learn a little bit more about the Karma. Even when it vanishes, the data that in put into the vessel remains. Because of this, Kawaki is still 80% Otsutsuki and can be used as a sacrifice for the Divine Tree. Luckily Kawaki comes up with the 9,000 IQ plays and starts burning himself, forcing Momoshiki to absorb the chakra, thereby replenishing Boruto's chakra a little bit which then allows him to wake up and take back control of his body. Now the most important moment we need to go over is the death of Kurama. Kurama didn't tell Naruto that the sacrifice of Baryon Mode was actually his life alone. This is a sad moment. The two of them reminisce on their lives and look at all they've done together and realizes what a brotherly bond they really had. Kurama was really there for Naruto from the very beginning and the two worked together to accomplish a lot. It's really sad to see him fade away. The ending of the episode was pure artistry. A great showcase of the adversities that the two of them faced together. I'm looking forward to the next episodes. |

Since Naruto is no longer a Jinchuriki will he loose the marks on his face? Is he even strong enough now to remain Hokage? Naruto is still stronger than everyone in the village due to his frog sage mode. He beat Pain without Kurama minus his freak out. |
