The show needs so much to fix i season 2 to be watchable even by hardcore fans. Maybe especially by hardcore fans.

There needs to be more detailed cardfights. And less random plot.

Speak for yourself. There are lots of us who liked and love the show already as it is, it's very watchable. Probably the most watchable Vanguard show for those of us who aren't Vangaurd fans, as I tried watching previous ones and couldn't enjoy them. This one on the other hand looks pretty, has great character designs and is very fun. I love watching this group of friends hanging out and having a great time together. I like that it's not about the cardfights but just a show with cardfights.

Yes, that was Bushiroad intention, to gather new players... I mean, for this season specifically they make a lot of efforts to explain the gameplay mechanic via their yt, twitch, etc... So i guess it doesnt really matter if they fast paced the anime, its only 12 epsds after all
