| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, they are really hyping Poseidon up. It actually makes me worried that he will lose. I want the humans to win obviously, but Poseidon is my favorite Olympian god and I like his character design a lot in this show. But yeah, Poseidon is scary. Still, the underdog swordsman shouldn't be underestimated. We still haven't seen his Valkyrie, so perhaps we will see her next episode. |

| Looks like Sasaki Kojiro is studying every possible move he's going to play on the battlefield against Poseidon and none of them seem to work for him. In every possible scenario, he's the one who's gonna die. Poseidon is one fearsome god. Nobody wants to fuck with him. That past of Poseidon was something else. Man, Adamas just wanted his little brother to look him in the eye all along. Poor Adamas. Sasaki decided to sit in the middle of all that and decided not to take any action for now. I wonder what's going through his mind right now. |

| Poseidon's character design looks very good, unlike Thor's I wonder why they picked Sasaki Kojiro and not Miyamoto Musashi... Most likely the author wants to present him as an underdog that will eventually win the first round for humanity |

| They are hyping Poseidon a lot, just like Adam and Lu Bu. I'm sure this samurai guy will win. But damn Poseidon seems so cold O_O. Also Adamas was a jerk lol. |

| Slow buildup, they not even fight yet... I thought Sasaki Kojirou might have a chance but after seeing Poseidon one shot Adamas like that, I'm not so sure now... |

| I liked Poseidon's backstory. Adamas was a believable character, however don't forget that he didn't appear in the actual Greek mythology, haha. Poseidon reminds me of Adam. After seeing him in action, I doubt that Sasaki Kojiro will be able to defeat him, at least in conventional way. |
| Poseidon being hyped making it look like he’s going to lose. We haven’t seen the Valk Sasaki merged with or how hopefully it’s a nice surprise hope he wins since they made Poseidon seem like such a dick. |
| Yet another uneventful and unnecessary episode. I don't care about hyping up Poseidon's character especially at the expense of another god character the we don't know. I like how this episode we are force-fed character development of Zeus' children when they were younger - It's the wrong time for it since it's battle time and all this character development happens arbitrarily when we are engaged on the actual fighting (anything else is just ignored). At this point humanity is 0-2 so I have not hopes that this guy who uses a sword will be able to beat Poseidon. So many reaction shots of new swordsmen that I do not care about as well, the previous characters that reacted in Adam v Zeus are evaporated from the characters since they are useless - leaving us with the original Valkyrie characters and they aren't a bit useful in this series either apart from turning into weapons. |
 This series knows well how to make cool characters. Poseidon's backstory was cool too. |

| Oof- Poseidon's a bishounen. I continued watching because of Sasaki Kojiro but now... idk about a bishounen getting killed. I mean, I didn't need that flashback to like Poseidon. Among all the gods in this show, I think I like him the most. (And Hermes, I guess.) Will Sasaki even win? Can't see that happening now. |

| The kid's a big trash talker. Adamas doesn't look anything like Zeus or Poseidon. He also got major anger issues. Brunhilde really knows every single thing and detail. |
