Try to get past Episodes 3 and 4 'cuz that's the lowest point of the CG. And try to not skip the student segments, the second half of the anime will depend of those.

Ok that last part has got me really interested. Thats so interesting that the entire class has been reincarnated into different bodies. I can't wait for when the MC meets the rest in spider form.

Also, that beginning is literally just Reincarnated as a Slime haha.

It’s kinda weird seeing other characters perspective then Kumoko when I read the manga I do have the novel but I haven’t read it yet

Manga skips every non-Kumoko POV (even the ones that are in her own timeline).

She appears in episode 7 in Shun's timeline (and if I'm not mistaking, it's anime only, this scene is not in the LN).

Sorry I didn't understand your question right away, so I wrote an answer that is not answering your questions ^^''' But just in case, I wrote about what was cut and what was different in the LN (no spoilers).

Now for your actual question, the Hero in Kumoko's timeline is Julius, Shun's older brother. It was his first battle (mentionned in episode 10 after Shun was made the new Hero). Shun is still a baby at that time (like Sophia).

So yes, there are two timelines : the present with Kumoko and the Prolepsis with Shun.

When Kumoko is in the labyrinth, it's more easier to follow the story, because most of the time the humans are not in a cave (except Julius in a early episode and Ronandt in episode 10, but he clearly said that's a flashback). wasn't sure how i'd like this so i held off for awhile. but on the streaming site i use i saw the dub had progressed quite a bit. so i'm giving it a shot

fairly funny, if i'm being honest. it's not taking itself too seriously *so far*

i knew from the description that she turns into a spider while pretty much everyone else remains human (and of noble status, at that). but damn, to actually see it play out was kinda rough haha. she's eating spiders and poison frogs while the rest of her class is in some fancy shmancy ballroom eating high end food

7/10 to start. i think it was kind of funny and kind of interesting. i'm a little concerned that the humor will get tiresome though. but we shall see

I am really hooked on this now. I plan to read the light novel as well. It feels very unique with all the characters get isekaied and becomes different people, people of different sexes, and animals.

Mc hyperactive persona is really entertaining to watch, and her VA potrayal is really likeable. Also the 3d is really cute and fluid.

It's Amazing, also i think it's very underappreciated i mean i suppose people don't think that i would be great cause of the whole spider thing BUT YOUR WRONG its one of my favourite anime out there and I'm really begging for a season 2 which i don't often feel that way when there hasn't been any response on one but for this one im literally going to lose it if they say theres no season 2.

i honestly dropped slime after a few eps cuz it was so cheezy. as another commenter said on the first page, this one hits different. MC gets wrecked and barely gets by. i can tell ill stick with this one, heh
