| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was visually beautiful. The content was really interesting, but it was odd thematically. To me, it seemed as if Kabamaru was becoming his abusive grandfather, yet the boar did what he wanted and went back to the mountains. Maybe it's just that way for now; perhaps Kabamaru's stubbornness will come back to bite him in a future scenario. So weird. |
| It was a bit shocked at the fact that Kabamaru punched the boar in the face, but apparently, it was necessary to make the boar realize that it could still look after itself. A boar does belong in wild, so it's best that it returns to the mountains. |
